I was really happy with the speed of my connection besides frequent disconnections sometimes, but suddenly few day,s back i was not having enough speed to load a normal webpage at first click,so i had noticed the speed which maked me shocked it felled from 20-40 KBps to 1-4 KBps now you can imagine how it feel,s when your network is not working well, today i am getting 10% from 100% .........
now my question is,anyone could tell me what might be the problem is this ....?
the network technician,s are moron,s they are good for nothing,i am complaining them about the problem from a week and they are still lying to me that it will be fine ......
what my doubt is that someone has installed advanced speed booster to his system and he is getting all the bandwidth of mine ......
what do you think ..........?

It could be that there are more houses and or apartments using the Lan as is allowed. Do you live in an apartment block? Then they should install another Lan for the extra customers. If you live in a house, then it could be that all the neighbors are now using the same lan. In which what will usually happen is that the service provider will let you and the neighbors know that they are making upgrades.
So what you have to do is to tell them that you think that there are more apartments or houses on the lan and it is overloading the system. They will tell you if there is a service upgrade coming and if someone is stealing bandwidth.

hello friend
First, which connexion is this !? DSL, ADSL, or WIFI !?
When you start your computer, don't open the Browser and shutdown the Messengers u use, go to : Start == Run and type : cmd
type this commands :
1- netstat -N
and see which ports process are loaded
2- netstat -A
to see if there is a ips connected at your computer.
if everything is normal and there is no ips detected , so you have to see with your Provider concerning your lan and the Speed its have.
Goodluck.
