Well I have not had to move in 10 years, and hopefully I will not have to anytime soon. But it really is a big job, and the longer you live in one place, the more things you accumulate. My daughter and her family have been staying with me for 7 weeks, they finally got there new apartment and are moving today. I did not move anything, I guesss you could say, I supervised. They got most of the stuff out of storage moved today, but tomorrow they will need to get their things moved that are in my house, then they will need to put all the things away.I know they will be glad when they are all settled in the new apartment.

I think moving is an exciting process and I have made probably at least one dozen moves over the years maybe more. I like it to a degreee but it is stressful. It's really hard work too. I'm planning a move in the not too distant future and not really looking forward to it, but I think I will be happier when I do.

Hello there, I understand where you're coming from. I moved to another apartment a few years ago and when I was packing up, I realized how much stuff I've accumulated in just a year!!! There was literally no more space left in my cousin's car. Thankfully, she had helped me move and drive me to my new apartment. But it would've been better if there was a guy around to carry things for me. Nevertheless, I had back pains after moving! It's really not a pleasant thing to do and I never want to move alone again! :P

Yes, you are right but thats the way it is. It is called life..You can transfer the stuff from your previous home to new one..

Yes, but that transfir is a very big job and it is very hard to find help when you move. You accumulate so much stuff too.

The last time I moved was three years ago now, and it was horrendous. I just did not realise that I had so much stuff. It seemed to take forever to get moved and settled and then unpacked. I said that I would be prepared for next time, all the junk would have to go and I have slowly gone through it all and got rid of much of it. Hopefully come the next time that we move I will hardly have anything left!!

Oh yes tell me about it that moving is a job. I have moved 7 times and I really really thank God now that I am married and have my own apartment there's not going to be any move for I until I don't know when. The next move will be when my husband purchase a landed house then its time to move again. But it will not be so soon thank God. With all these 7 years experience, it has taught me not to hoard things. All the stuff we have in our apartment now is in use. Even if its a spare I know it will be in use one day. Can't stand hoarding. So I clear out stuff regularly.

OH i hate moving SO much. I recently moved maybe about 1 month and a half ago. And the thing is that we had to wait until our house was finished being built so we were "homeless" for about a month and a half. We had to fit four bedrooms worth of stuff into two small storage places. Why two small ones?yeah I dont know either lol.
SO we basically had to move our stuff twice.Once into the storage place and now into our house.Luckily we stayed with family. And we didnt expect to stay that long .Now that we been moved in for a while we still have a wall of boxes in the garage that have not been touched yet lol well get to them. But I hate moving and hope I dont move for a while!
Good thing your daughter got into their new apt.i know how tough moving is when youhad to use a storage for a while and they are soo expensive!

Well I am glad you got moved into your brand new house. I know you love it there. My daughter and her family had to stay with me 7 weeks too before they got into their apartment, so they had things in storage and here too.You will get to those boxs in the garage shortly.

Moving has to be one of the worst times in life, its so stressful, there are a million and oe things to do.Pack each box and label it,so that it ends up in the right room, and then pack the van ,then by the time you have packed the van you are whacked lol and you have only got half of the way, theres the other end to conquer yet. Then after all the unpacking has been done the other end,the place that you are leaving has to becleaned out, unless lol you are wealthy enough to pay someone else to do it!and then at the other end there are curtains to be put up ,boxes to be unpacked, beds to be made up and ol theres a meal to be made,bu maybe it will be a takeaway.
