Ever surprised by your earnings?

I wasn't on here long yesterday, I only posted a couple of discussions and replies. Most of them were kind of short as well. I really didn't think I was going to earn much at all, I thought possibly a couple of cents. When I logged in today and went to my earnings... I earned a total of 50 cent. I know it isn't much but I am surprised at how much for little time I spent on here.
I think on days when you really forget about the earnings on here you earn more than on the days you think about it. I try not to focus on them but it also seems like on days when you don't even try you earn more. That is always the case with me.
How about you?

Congratulations on your daily earnings!
Seriously, I'm always amazed to earn anything, since I'm very rarely here. It just blows my mind to earn a penny or two just to "talk!"
Like you, I think it's best to just come here not thinking about the earnings. The discussions are probably more meaningful and honest.

Yup, if you are here purely motivation by the camaraderie of friends chatting, then the money is really just a bonus, and a nice one at that!

Yes, I have been surprised by my earnings. I have also been disappointed in them as well. One time I noticed I earned a higher amount (for me anyway), yet I barely posted anything that day. So the next day I actually put effort into participating and posted more. If I could earn such an amount from a few posts, I wanted to see what I could earn if I posted even more. But when the earnings updated I was disappointed to see that I earned even less then on the day I barely posted anything.
Nowadays I don't even bother trying to figure out how much I can earn on here. It's much too confusing to me.

I don't ever try to figure out how much I can earn either, I think it's merely impossible to do that. I just try and post and make the most that I can. I am barely ever disappointed with my earnings but there have been times. For the most part I am usually pretty happy with my earnings on here.

Well, occasionally!
And both ways!!
Sometimes I didn't think I did much but the earnings came surprisingly good (well, relatively speaking). Other times I worked my *ss off and I was disillusioned for getting so little.
I have learned to take things easier nowadays and take whatever is offered me (not that I have a choice ).

good for you its just as well I'm not on here for the money I'd starve if I was lol being here for a few months and haven't made pay out once ,but then I don't sit on here doing 30 to 40 posts a day its just not me. I think the most I've made was 10 cents other times thought I've done well and only earnt 1 cent lol oh well I'm having fun.

Congratulations. I don't know how many discussions and responses I made that day, but it wasn't many. That is what surprised me about it. I really only thought I was only going to make a couple of cents. I am glad you reached your goal, I am about a $1.00 short of my goal, which is not bad. I am still happy with my earnings, very much so.

I wish I knew how they caculated earnings! (I think its against the rules to post yer earnings... but Im not gunna tell lol) I have fun responding to all the stuff as well but I like the earnings to... I think of it like a challenge just to see how much I can earn in a month! I'm going for a $100 but we'll see if I can or not lol!

$100 in a month? I don't think that is possible without referrals. I don't know though. I didn't know that it was against rule s to post earnings? I don't remember seeing any rules about that and I have seen so many other people do it. Which doesn't make it right I know, I just really didn't think it was. Sorry if it is.
