Helpful information about IT Swithch overs

I have spent good time as a faculty.
I was with Aptech,NetVision,LCC and some other institutes as a computer faculty.
during my this i have tought many languages like c,c++, Java,VB, JavaScript,VbScript vb.net, asp.net to the students.
But when i was entered as a developer, I found many difficulties.
So, if you are in teaching field and wants to swithchover as a developer then start now and totally concentrate on the development only.

I'm not in the teaching field but I took C, C++, Visual Basic and Java when I was in college. I also took UNIX programming and SQL. I hated C++ but loved VB.

If you are interested in VB then i can guide. Rather i am suggesting you to go for .net technologies. I can guide you in that also. if you are interested.

Unfortunately, I've been out of school for many years and don't have the opportunity to use my programming skills very often anymore. I do write SQL code to tweek my Access databases from time to time but I'm in more of an administration position now.
