At what age did you get a cellphone?

I got my first cellphone when I was in my third year of high school. It was actually a hand-me-down from my sister. I was a "late bloomer", so to speak. My classmates started to have their own phones in our second year.

i got a phone when im 2nd year high school and in that time not all students here have cellphone..but that time i cant bring mu cellphone at school because if they sees,caught you bring a cellphone in school they will confiscate it so id rather not to bring it..

My first cell. phone was when I was 18 years old... I got it the day after I turned 18... I remember because I was one of those that had to put a deposit down because I didn't have enough credit built up under my belt... And for those who know what it's like to put down a deposit when getting a cell. phone, they had it back then too, in 1988... I've been using nothing but cell. phone ever since then... I'm 37 now & I'll be 38 soon so I guess I've been using a cell. phone for 20 years now...

we are exactly the same, also i had my first phone after my graduation.my parents also bought it for me.^_~

Hi sendoh, I think we had the same timing. I also got my first cellphone when i entered my college and that too because i had my college in another city.

I did not have cellphone when I was a student. I got a cellphone when I worked already, that was when I was 32.

Dear friend, I hope may between age of 24yrs -25yrs I had got it after I got a small job of my own and moreover it was not much popular in our place but it was becoming popular. After that I saw many using it and now it is very much common. My first connection was also a prepaid idea at that time name was escotel connection.

mine is when i passed the Pharmacy board exam.it's my sister's gift to me.well,good enough.it makes me strive even more to get that cellphone,hehehehe.nah,it's really a need for me to have it since my sister is working far from us and my other sister is studying in some other places.sure thing is, it felt good inside when you got something as a reward for hard work and determination...

I got one two months ago.finishing my university entrence exam,my uncle gave it to me as a gift.
