Is concept of Co-Head Hostel acceptable in INDIA......

Though the differences between a man and a woman have reduced, but not to such an extent which can be acceptable in the society. The topic is a burning issue in Indian society that whether CO-HEAD hostels can be started in India or it is an early step. I think that the generation is so mature that it know it's limits. But on the other hand the parents have a point too after seeing the live-in relationship trend going in the world. What do you have to say about this?
