if given the power to read minds, how would you use it?

Hey my friend! I watch a series before which mention about someone who can read others mind. However, he choose to live in places which is abandoned by people. Because he can't control what he want to listen to. He hear everything, every words in people's mind. It's terrific. So, i don't think i would like to have that kind of supernatural power...no thanks =P (LOL) I would choose to transfer from a place to another within a second. Then i can go around the world. Tonight breakfast at Hawaii, lunch at Paris, dinner at London? Incredible hurh? =P

I don't think I'd like to hear other people's mind, the world is crazy enough as it is. I'd go even nuttier if I get to hear other people's thoughts as well. It's nice that you get to hear their thoughts but not 24/7 and not all people, maybe only those I'd like to hear, like its selective. You get to turn it off and on. I like better the ability to "jump" from one place to another.

I don't think that I'd want that power. I can read faces to a great extent as well as body language. I find that people look at me in shock or fear or disgust when I say something based on what their faces and bodies as opposed to their lips are saying. Very often people get angry when I spill out the truth, some get hurt, even if I didn't mean it that way. I think that the human mind is the only space whose privacy has remained intact until now and would like to leave it that way.

to figure out who is a crazy psycho or not before i go near them...so i can avoid the mental people...

I practically do! LOL! All my life, even as a little girl, I've had the ability to read people minds through body language. I think most people can read body language to a degree, but, I have such an uncanny ability to read even the smallest nuances in the way an eyebrow lifts, an eye moves or the way you move your head as you're speaking. I can tell if a person is lieing and so on. Not just body language, though. I can tell what a person is thinking even by the way they talk, the inflections in the voice. Again, most people can pick up on these, but, I'm talking about in the minutest sense. In fact, I've been called paranoid all my life because of it and they don't find out that what I'm saying is true until it's too late. Usually I can just look at a person and pick up an aura about them that tells me so much about their personality. I've been like this since I was very little! It's a blessing.............and a curse! If I were able to read minds, I would mainly use it to find out the truth when I ask a question or want to know how someone really feels. I hate lies and feel that people should try their best to tell the truth. I have had a bad relationship experience in the past and still to this day do not understand why my ex chose the other girl over me. When I asked him why, he really could not give me a good explaination. If I was able to understand why he did it, I would be able to except it more. I have gotten over it long ago and I no longer even want this guy, but I do still sometimes wonder why. Now, he constantly makes advances towards me and I think because of this I resent him even more. I would also use the power to know how somone feels about me. Then I would know if I were wasting my time or if the guy was really into me.

I would use it to get through college, get a job, earn some money, and save people. Reading minds would be awesome.

I think it would be disasterous. Imagine what the world would be like if everyone had to tell only the truth. Imagine how many marriages would suvive the first week. How many business deals would never get done, could capitalism ever suvive? I dont think so. So no, I dont think being able to read minds would be a good idea unless of course I was the only person to have the ability. Then of course, i9t would be fantastic blessed be

I would rather have the power to influence minds (as in any mind I needed to) so that I could get people to do what I wanted them to do. Then I could have any job I wanted and get anything I wanted out of life.

I'm not sure I would like to have such a superpower. For one thing you are listening to something private, it is like reading someones diary without their permission. I wouldn't want to know what others are thinking as sometimes I suspect it isn't pleasant. Like yourself I have no ambition to become a hero either therefore that power would be wasted on me!

It will be cool to read minds, but only my close family, so that I can be a little bit kinder and do whatever they want. I don't want to read strangers minds. It just don't make sense and what should you do with that information. Another superpower that I would love to have is to be the most intelligent person in the world. I would be able to learn anything in seconds, just by speed reading and will be able to do it that minute.

aha,a super power,i wish to possess it.if i have the power to read minder,i will use it to help others. around of us,there are many people need be helped,some of them have many troubles,but they don`t know how to deal with it.if i can read their minds,i can know what they are thinking,then i think i can get an ideal to help them,wow,such a great power! if i have the power to read minder,i will know who want to do bad things,then i can stop them from doing bad things,but i don`t want this to happen too,i want to have a peaceful world too!

I'd read my professor's mind. XD Hahahahaha! Well oh well. That would be jolly good, won't it? :D Hmm.. I'd read my friends' mind cause freaking them out would be fun. I could use that to know peoples' weaknesses and stuff. I could use that to detect if a person's lying too. :) That would be wonderful! :D

I will really enjoy using it. I have always wondered what people really think about me. Some people can say one thing in front of you and when your back is turned, they gossip behind your back. I would really wish to identify who is my true friend and who is simply a lowlife backstabber. Just my 0.2 cents.

I'm all for self improvements so I would love to have this ability. If I only knew what people thought about me when I walked by, I would use that gift and change myself. Another superpower that is on my top 5 list is becoming invisible Have a great night!

haha, i once had this sort when i watched the play HERO, it's cool to read people's mind, but if anyone can do it, then it's nothing special and language will turn non-verbal.

i would really love that power! I would use it to my kids and husband so I would know what they will want before they say it! I think you will be loved by everyone if you know what they think. I remembered a movie like this, the one by Mel Gibson "What Women Wants".

are ya sure you will live in peace? maybe you get very lonesome. i am happy that i dont have that kind a power but i wished the docters who must prove that you are disable had that power ,then i would not have so much runing anymore lol
