1. The Gunslinger (part of the Dark Tower Series 7 books)Stephen King
2. Twilight Stephanie Meyer
3. The Good Earth Pearl S Buck
4. The Drawing Of The Three (Dark Tower book 2) Stephen King
5. Eat, Love, Prey.
I had a hard time with the fifth book. My mind is running slow so I just put ELP to have something decent there. I don't think I could read that book more than a few times. The four above it? Brilliant. All the elements needed to take a person off to a whole 'nother world....
Now I HAVE to read a few on your list as I am intriqued....

Hi Oscar! I also love Wilbur Smith's Birds of Prey! That's the Courtney series right? I also love his Ballantyne series.
But my top books (not really 5) would be:
1. The Power of a Praying Woman, The Power of a Praying Parent and The Power of a Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian
2. If Tomorrow Comes by Sidney Sheldon
3. Wouldn't Take Nothing for my Journey Now by Maya Angelou
4. The Left Behind series (12 books) by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins
5. River God and its sequel The Seventh Scroll by Wilbur Smith

OK so here goes, and let it be known there are a lot more than this:
1.) Running with the Demons
2.) A Knight of the Word
3.) Angle Fire East
4.) The Elfstones of Shannara
5.) The Sound and the Fury
Four of these are by Terry Brooks, and really I could read any of his books more than once. Also, there are a ton of Star Wars books that I would love to read again, if only I had more time.

Oscar, you've got a very good question there. Now I've got to think back what books I would enjoy reading more than once:
1. All the books in the Sherlock Holmes series
2. All the books in Alfred Hitchcock collections
3. All the books about 87 Precinct by Ed McBain
4. All the books about Archy McNally by Lawrence Sanders
5. The Empty Chair by Jeffrey Deaver
It looks like I've got more than 5 books - I can't remember the names of the individual books, but there are really the books I don't mind reading over and over again!
