I'm a little bummed today because my eyes arent focusing right. I've been to many Dr's and they tell my the lining in the back of my eye is getting to thin and there is nothing they can do until it falls off. It's really scary to me. I must have 5 pairs of reading glasses because I have different degrees of vision. The Dr. also said if I ever feel a sudden feeling of stabbing pain in my left eye,I'm too go to the E.R right away. Has anyone ever had this happen to them?or know someone that had it happen. Any information would be nice . Thankyou all my friendly mylotters!! and god bless you!!

Do you have Diabetes, then you could be developing "diabetic retinopathy"?

Check out this site for a list of ailments, maybe you will find a better explanation here of what your experiencing or something to steer you in the right way. I saw on the website that they can be contacted.

No, it's because of my meds..I'm on morphine for my pain twice a day and oxycodone in between, plus for reasons unknown, the researchers have founf that one of the effects of fibromyalgia is eye fuzziness and diminished eyesight. My eye Dr. couldn't keep my eyes in focus long enough to give me a cause or glasses and I hadn't taken my narcotics for two days before the appointment. It's just something I live with as are lots of other things. The university of michigan has found the cause of fibromyalgia,so now they are working on a cure,I'm very hopeful, but for me that's just the beginning. After they cure my fibro,I need a lot of nerve damage fixed,if can be abd a lot of disk surgery, which means the use of metal to hold it all together because my bones are osteoporic. But I do have hope!!!

No, I havent ever heard of anything like that. I'm sorry you are having that problem. It sounds like it would be pretty scary. I wish you luck and hope whatever is wrong can be treated. Eye problems are nothing to mess around with. It is great we have modern medicine to treat such things.
