I have seen online that some people are getting awesome results with this diet ( way of eating ) Some of the ladies were losing between .5-3 pounds a week, Depending on how much weight you have to lose. What you do is eat a low amount of calories one day and then the next day a higher amount. Like on a Down Day you might have 704 calories then the next day on your Up Day, have something like 2345 calories. I have the link here for you to check it out. http://www.johnsonupdaydowndaydiet.com/ What I would like to know is: Have you ever tried this way of eating? What kind of results did you get? How did you feel? Would you try this way of eating?

Hmm.. This is the 1st time I heard about it.. so I don't really know much about this diet.. I personally wouldn't go for it.. My metabolism is REALLY quick as it is, & I don't currently need to lose any more weight!! :) lol I eat about 5 meals a day most of the time, if I don't eat protein I must eat every 2 hours or so :) I eat mostly 'healthy' things, no or very little 'junk food' or sweets or such... I do recommend basically healthy eating to you too.. Little or no prepackaged/pre-prepared food... mostly 'whole' foods... cooked from 'whole' ingredients... & go for more movement/exercise/walking etc. My Mom lost weight with that alone.. *If* you eat a lot of caloric food one day, it would make sense to eat less the next day.. But I wouldn't want to mix up my metabolism like that on purpose for a longer amount of time...

lol my metabolism is much too quick... Don't you wish for it!! :) I sometimes feel like I'm 'always hungry', lol! Well, let us know how it goes.. Remember, always try to eat healthy... Fresh veggies like eg tomatoes are 'negative calories' that will help you burn calories on days when you eat more..

I eat a steady 1,815 caloried each day .. 3-5 lb weight loss a week is not healthy. and I can tell you this .. when you lose that much you are bound to gain it back.. it seems the ones who are doing this are messing with their matabalism ( not spelled right ) and whats going to happen is its going to slow back down and then they will be stuck. If you are looking for a forever weight loss and keep it off they should do it healthy and not play games with their bodies . When they reach a plateo they are not going to have the cards in their pockets to get out of it . I wish them well but in 4-5 months tell me what they are doing then . Just my two cents Hugs me

I did read it .. and spoke to my nutrishanist /trainner about it .. she said it will screw it up alot .. the thing about dieting is that you want to get healthy and thinner naturally .. and once your matablism adjust to that kind of dieting it will be hard to get it on track to do what it needs to do . and then where would you be? The best way to lose weight and keep it off is counting your calories and excersise.. fad diets and playing with you bodys natural balance can lead to alot of unhealthy things .. 'Just some food for thought ( with no calories LOL ) Hugs me

That is the Plan, to mess witht he metoblism. So that your not use to the same amount of calories on a daily basis. Did you go to the sight and read it? So far studies have shown that this slows down the aging process. I am interested in what you think.. Please read the link and then share more thoughts! Hugs Back! Me
