Does money make us happy?

hi sumi, people in ethopia are not happy .. they do not have food,water, home, work .. their children are sick ... if i had money i will buy food for them, give them enough to start a business, build a home, medicate the children If a person can go to the ancient age and live in the cave without electricity, water, paid tv, internet ... then happiness is a state of mind Now with this additional requirements to make us happy then .. i need to work ... with the money i earn then i buy those things .. this money too is used to pay for my house and food this money actually have contributed 90% to my happiness .. if i do not have any money .. i don have a home and i do not have food ... i might have to look for a cave ... Money is not only security ... human have changed the world system .. no people can be happy without money as money buys everything .. In this era and time ... only money can make a person happy, if no money then you have to be a bum leaving in a cardboard box house and eating from the garbage the above is only ment for discussion sake do not be offended in any ways cheers

S, friend I fully agree with u, but money is required for one's life to pull on for becoming happy and peacful life money is not must, but to live a healthy life money plays a part. As u said many wealthy women and men are not happy because they are living only for money. If they understand they should understand the concept that money is required to some extend only , then they will be happy ever.

I say that money does not make you happy. What makes you happy is the things that you buy with your money. For example, if you have 350 dollars, that does not make you happy, the buying of a xbox 360 makes the person happy. Whe nyou are making money you are probably not happy. but after you get the money and buy something, you willl become happy unless it is a stupid thing to buy
