I have yahoo too and get some, not many - probably not that many, but I'll let them build till about a few hundred then I empty it. Why? just to clean house so to speak and also, I know them sitting in there wont' cause a problem, but that just annoys me that maybe the possiblity - 1 million to 1 - I'll be the 1!
But I used the have gmail accounts that I used with GPT and lord have mercy, at the end of the month I'd check them and I'd have literally thousands! I mean 4-5 thousand spam mails! I couldn't believe it!

Whats up with gmail? Why does everyone use them with all that spam?

Don't know why they get so much, just know that I stopped using gmail cause of it. With all that bad bombarding my inbox, there's sure to be a slip somewhere and the problems will start!

I probably get just as many, maybe even more than that easily. But I would never know, because I use Outlook, and a lot of the messages in there are duplicates of messages sent to specific folders. I rarely look in my actual Gmail account, unless there is an e-mail that I am expecting, and it hasn't shown up. That deletes every 30 days, plus gmail is unlimited space so I don't have to worry about that. But when I do go searching for something, I delete all the spam messages that are there.

I know a lot of my emails are duplicates too. Unlimited space, now I know why people choose gmail. Searching the net is so powerful and probably the cause of all my spam. Oh well, on with the experiment...

I dont delete them usually. I leave it to my service provider.
They delete it after 30 days i assume. By that time it will be thousands. Cant help it:( I donno from where these come up, but its quite a number. I cant really say 140 or 150 but certainly more than 100 because the last time i saw the huge number was 3500 or something like it

I have never had that many spam emails.I have three different email accounts. My gmail usually gets 10 spams a day and yahoo has 20 right now.My outlook is the best for blocking spam I usually get 2 from it.I delete them right away.I can't wait to hear how many it took to crash your inbox.

Did you see the comments above? Those guys are getting thousands of emails!!! You, my friend, win the contest for Least amount of email. That is just wonderful that in this day of net madness, you can only get 10-20 emails.

140, really? Is that all? What is your secret? How do you keep the amount so low? I have several email addresses, all for different things or reasons. In the three email addresses I use the most I get over a thousand, yes, over a thousand, spam emails per day! In each of the lessor used email addresses I still get several hundred spam emails per day!!! I check my emails daily just to keep them from building up to much and every day I have to delete hundreds to thousands, (depending on which email I'm in) of spam emails.

Ok you win!! I have two emails and thats enough for me. You must have a great spam filter with all that email??? Thats sounds like a serious job if not.

Oh I remember those days of 40 emails. You must not sign up for anything on the net right? Enjoy the peace and quiet.

i tend to leave them as they get deleted after 30 days anyway, but the ones that slip through the net i have to delete straightaway as i hate sifting through the garbage to get to the email i am looking for.
