"The Media Laughed at This Woman"

That's what Glen Beck said. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X3jnbiHAMuY&feature=related He doesn't think she's funny, do you? What's so funny about wanting to drill in Alaska, 700 miles away from the closest stream? Is there anyone who still thinks she sounds like an inexperienced soccer mom?

I don't care if Sarah Palin is Dem or Rep...I am just glad that a blue collar, medium income, born and raised and stayed that way, hard working on 9-5 kind of jobs with a family to raise and not from a wealthy, renouned, legacy, "politics in the blood" kind of person. I am so sick of those kinds and that is all we've had for years. I would be so glad to ahve someone like this in office that "been there done that" and can side for us working americans instead of big business and the wealthy and I am not to concerned that her foreign policy knowledge is not that great, because that means she can put all her attention to this country instead of the rest of the world and help us get out of this recession/depression we are in and build this country back to what it was and can be again, instead of supporting all the other countries in the world and ignoring the USA

I know, I don't care what party she's with either. Now that this stuff just came out about her daughter, it brings her close to us if you ask me. She represents real change!

Yeah, he even said it himself. I have to say I do admire the way he responded with "children are off limits".

Her daughter has absolutely no baring on her ability to be VP. I mean Obama was born to a 16 year old, non married mother too!

Sarah Palin is bound to have the last laugh on anyone. Currently she stands the best chance of eventually being the first woman President of the USA. This is because almost all normal, sane, decent people instantly like her, she has been successful, and she is going to obtain even better experience as John McCain's VP.

Thanks for posting that! Personally I think she's an extremely intelligent woman and is exactly what we need in Washington. The old blood isn't getting anything done to help us -- we need new blood and new ideas. I think she's truly concerned about our future, unlike Hillary who is all about her own image.

It's so very nice to see you LovingIt. I was afraid you left, I hadn't seen you in a long time. Lol I was just thinking about you earlier when I came across a discussion you started 2 years ago. I was even planning on looking you up later when/if I got more time later. I am so excited about Sarah I can't even tell you. I haven't been this excited about a politician in a long time. The more I learn about her and see her the more I like her. She's seems down to Earth and real.

I really would like to know what she has said that makes her so intelligent? I have listened to alot of her interviews, and she seams to struggle with most of them. I normally wouldn't be worried about this, but she is a former report that was on Television alot. She also has a degree in journalism, so you would think this would be her strong suit. Good luck with this one.

Yes, I'm still here. I come and go. I've started my own business and sometimes I have the time and sometimes I don't. It's good to see you again.

She sounds like a very intelligent woman. Those who prevent oil exploration in America hate Americans. Sarah Palin has America's interest at heart. Alaska could contribute so much oil and gas and those horrible members of Congress are not allowing them to do so.

She is a right-wing nut job. She doesn't believe in global warming; she wants creationism taught in schools; she wants to shoot wolves from helicopters; she's against all abortion, even in the case of rape or incest. She scares me, terrifies me. I'm glad she excites someone. I think the Republicans are delusional if they think Hilary supporters will vote for her.

I do feel that she is an inexperienced person that hires someone to be a soccer mom. That person she hires is her HUSBAND, who is quoted as saying he is the one that takes the kids to and from school, and events. I have also listened to people say that she is an oil expert because she is the governor of Alaska. That is like saying that I live on a lake so I am a water expert. I really would also like to know who is going to raise her young son while she is off running for vice president. The first year of a childs life is the bonding years for a mother and child, I wonder who he is going to bond with. I also found it funny that when Glen made the statement about this land being 700 miles from the closest stream the governor didn't continue, she moved on to other facts about ANWR. But, thank you for showing this link, I heard so many people on here saying that the governor sued the US government to get the polor bear off of the endangered speices list because there are so many of them, but in this video she states her true intent which is to move them so we can drill for oil. I also caught her mistake of saying that we are fighting for oil in some cases, I am sure the McCain people didn't watch this video close. Thanks for link

What a sexist thing to say! You just said that her husband takes the kids to and from school, etc -- who says the parent that does these things can't be the dad? Obama has young kids too -- who is going to take care of them while he's busy being president?

You bring up a good point that we don't point out that Barack has two children, and they are raised by Barack, and Michelle. See, the reason I pointed out that her husband does so much with he kids is because the number one reason republicans give for supporting Palin is that she is a soccer mom with five children. The fact is her husband is more of the soccer mom than she is, but you will never hear her say that. I am not saying that he isn't a good father, I am just saying that republicans make is sound like he takes care of her kids all by herself, they mention her husband doing all of this work as well. I see that you ignored the fact that she is called an energy expert, I would love for you to find what she has said that makes her an expert, and where she recieved her expertice from. I work in the oil business, does that make my wife an expert on oil?

Sarah Palin is a great women and should not be taken lightly. No Obamite has the right to say anything about her lack of experience. A great choice John McCain on picking Sarah as your running mate.

Ok Gew, give me a list of what she as done. I will start you off: City council women for a city of 6,000 people Mayor for a city of 6,000 people. Lost an election for lietuenatn governor Chaired the Alaskan OIl and Gas Conservation Commission, she exposed the corruption in Alaska (already known as the most corrupt state in the union), and getting rid of politicians that could run against her in the future. Elected Govrnor of Alaska Is investigated by independent investigator hired by the Alaska legislature, just the latest case of her inability to deal with people that don't agree with her (see her history of firing anyone that doesn't agree with her) I personally would have some problems voting for someone with a record like this for the house or the senate. I would never vote for anyone with this lack of experience for vice-president, this women is a heartbeat away from the having her hand on the button. With a 72 year old president, the vice president is more important to the republicans this year than in any other year.
