What is your purpose for using facebook?

Facebook is an excellent way to connect with friends that you would normally not be able to keep up with, such as old college friends or friends that move away and somehow phone numbers get lost along the way. It is amazingly simple idea of helping people stay connected by allowing people to post pictures and have conversations, and best of all, it is free.

I use it mostly for entertainment. I like to play games and use the different apps when I am bored. But I do have a lot of friends on there, and I use it to keep in touch with them.

I mostly use it just to keep in contact with friends. But it has moved on to more capabilities. I also use some of the applications. For instance, there is this one, little green patch. You send virtual plants to friends who also have the application, and for every 10 you send it to, a donation is made to the nature conservancy to save some rain forest land. I use this every day, as you can send it to 24 people. And it makes me feel like I am doing a little something good for the world using facebook.

I use it to keep in contact will old school and university friends.
