Do reality stars still get paid a paycheck while they are away from work?

surely all these people that sign up for all of these reality shows get paid something while they are away from home.. how would they pay rent and etc especially if they are single if they are out of work for how ever many months?? not to mention some peoples jobs wont take them back since they are leaving for so long so you know their jobs isnt giving them any!!
so do you think that there is a set amount that they get paid every months on top of trying to win the prize?

I have also wondered about this. You would have to think that they get paid something while they are there. I would really like to know the answer to this also.

well i heard on big brother after dark some one saying that they were saving money by being there since they were only having to pay for like rent and etc and werent out eating out and etc.. so obviously they are paying for it so unless everyone on there has a good savings account (yeah right.. americans save money.. ha!) then they must be getting their bills paid some how.. not to mention there are the reality shows that dont have cash prizes in the end.. they have to be getting SOMETHING
