I do, and I want to right now. I want to sell my house, quit my job and just go away, I get this feeling about every few months. I won't do it. I will suck it up and continue on. But I get restless.
Do you ever have this feeling? Have you ever acted on it? What do you do to help the feelings?

I know what you mean, i have gotten this feeling often. I have never acted upon it though. Life just gets you down and you stop caring. Its a desire to want to rid yourself of all responsibility, but in this world that's impossible, unless you enjoy living on the streets.
Sometimes i think its good to take time out for ones self, for relaxation or recreation. You can't always be serious and on the go, pick up a little bit of light heartedness. Life is full of stresses and you just have to manage them properly.

I often feel like this, when I am really down I feel like just running away and not tell anyone..
I think it is a thing in my brian that maybe packijng up and starting a new life may be the answer as i know sometimes it is...A bit like putting yourself on a new track...but I just go shopping instead or go to McDonalds that usually fixes me up.

I do feel like this sometimes, and I'm sure most people do. You just get tired of life and work, and want to disappear for a while. But of course we can't just leave everything. I usually just go out and do something fun, maybe treat myself. Just taking a small break, and some time to yourself sometimes helps.

I 'just went away' in 1981. Of course, I bought a house, not sold my house. Only this house is where I 'just went away' to. So, yes, I have acted on it. It means not making any where near the money I could or having a higher standard of living, but it is worth it to me.

I did last year, and I buggered off to Arizona for 6 months. I never let it get so strong that i will sell what I have at HOME, because I will eventually need a place to come back to, but I packed up what I needed, and took off down there for a bit. I had a great time in AZ. Of course it helped that my husband has a job down there, and I got to see him, but as well as seeing him, I still really needed to get away from home for a bit. It was wonderful!

yes I do get that feeling some time. It gets magnified when the stress is piling up. Some days I feel I can't breath with everything demanding attention immediately. One day I might just listen to that little voice and upped and be gone. But for now, I take little breaks to get away from everything. Looking forward to the little breaks help me cope with the stress. Cheers ;)

Yes, I've been wanting to do that a lot of times already but as much as I want to I still don't have the luxury to do so. Let's face it, money is really needed for a much needed "hide away" from civilization every once in a while. And I still don't have that. Maybe when I have my own savings that can actually afford going somewhere peaceful without anybody I know, somewhere I can think, relax and be carefree without spending TOO much. But since, it's all just a plan I just settle in my room, face my laptop, and I don't leave my room until I feel half happy to do so.

yeah i occasionally feel like this whenever i'm feeling down. i just want to run away and leave everything and everyone. i wish i could just quit my job and go on a roadtrip to no pre-determined destination. usually when i feel like this i go out, or do things that i enjoy to get my mind off things. talking to a friend also helps. oh well.

Yeah, I sometimes think so.
Now, I want to go away too.
However, there is not way to go.

Good day... No not yet anyway, I can say I'm fairly young that those kind of thoughts never entered my mind. Have many plans and things that I want to pursue. If ever tat time will come, I might get away for a while but not to the expense of totally leaving my life.

Every couple of months huh? Well there must something that you would rather be doing in a different place and until you satisfy that urge its probally not going to go away.
I have wanted to get away but only for a vacation. For the most part I love where I live, the majority of my immediate family and friends are here. I love my job and if I moved it would mean relocating my company, and I am not interested in that. So home is where I want to be for the most part.
Every couple of months or weeks I will decide I need a vacation. Then I will go away for a week or two and then back home.

HIIIIIII laglen!!!!
Many people would face this qusetion, stay or abandon everything just go away.Maybe some of them cannot face it!Cause stress, environment or some other factors.Actually the key of this problem is they cannot face difficulties, face failures. In addition they cannot face themselves! It is a behavior of evading!I cannot agree with it at all!
As a commom people I have ever thought it,but as a real man I have to overcome everything in front of me in my way to success!
Come on,you can do it well!!!!
