I am only a mother of 5.I have always had trouble deciding what to get who and do the presents equal out.You can't get everybody the same and all gifts have to be something they want. So,this past Christmas I gave them Walmart gift cards. My kids were excited and still haven't stopped talking about them. They are looking forward to getting them again this year. What a relief! They get what they want to buy and I don't have too worry about getting a cool gift or wrapping and trying to hide the gifts from sneaky kids.A real lifesaver and the kids went to school bragging about how cool their mom was.It is a real nice feeling!

I grew up wanting a dozen kids - sadly only got to have two! You could have htem all do a craft and make for each other. YOu could do a name draw and each one has to "quiz" the other for a special gift but they can't tell who they drew! Do soemthing like they have to give a gift of their chore! Watch library books sales. My daughater now 30 says the best gift she ever got (from me) was a large box of books - all her favorites or about things she loved. I started in August and went to the library every thursday and bought books for 10 cents each. I made a huge box for each kid and they just loved it. I did that as money was really tight and if it wasn't for thrift stores, there'd been no gifts that year. Wasnt' till she was married and our first chrsitmas with her husband that we were all telling stories about favorites times at christmas and out of hte blue she jumped up and announced the year of the box of books and how it was just her favorite gift ever!

Your post is limited, how old are your kids? and are you thinking about gifts for the kids or are you thinking more of how they can buy for all their siblings?
when my kids were little one year around Christmas time the kids and myself went out and collected mistletoe, then went home and wrapped pieces with ribbon and and placed that in aggies. then we found stores that would let us sell infront. they sold their mistletoe for a dollar a bag and did realy well. and that year was a great christmas for them because they were so excited to see people open the gifts they bought.
My kids are older now with children of their own so now I make calenders for presants. These calenders have all the pictures that family has sent me through-out the year and if someone has a b-day that month it says it on their picture. I put about 4 to 8 pics of differnt sizes on each month. I missed doing this one year because of being injured in an auto accident. wow did I ever find out how important those calenders are to all my family members.
Hope that helps,
