What is life-long job?

I am a secertary, there is question always lingering on my mind. Can secretary deem as a life-long career?

I'm sure you can find a better job than being a secretary. Or maybe you can find some training that will enhance the skills you have got.

Jammyt. Thanks for your warm encourgement. I have made up my mind to further my study. Now the problem comes up. I am still have no idea what shall pursue as a major?

hi vickie! i think it depends on the person if they can think of their career as their lifelong career. if a person is enjoying his/her job, usually he/she would feel like he/she can do it forever. a person can do something forever as long as he/she is happy with it. if you are happy with being a secretary and if you feel like you don't mind doing it forever, then i think you can see it as a lifelong career.
