I think it's good if it fits the crime. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

Bad!
Capital punishment has become a kind of false idol, because people think that it either deters crime (a lie/misconception) or else it is justified as a means of repaying a debt to society (revenge, otherwords).
What's worse is that there are people who would like to see executions televised. They say that it's to make it more "real"--but I say that this would just be an excuse for taking "reality TV" a step further down the lane of cheap thrills at the expense of another.
"So?" one might say. "Don't the criminals get some kind of cheap thrill out of their crimes?"
And that's enough of an answer right there for me: I'm not a criminal and I don't do crimes.
Law-abiding society needs to set--and live by--some kind of standards instead of wallowing down there in the mud with the worst of them.

Good only if 100% sure that they are guilty. Is that possible?

Why should the criminal get off that easy? they should rot in jail for the rest of their lives with nothing, having to fight other crims for everything. Two wrongs don't make a right.
