I rest a while and close my eyes and have meditation. I pray so that I will be releved of the stress. I believe that nothing will happen to me without the knowledge of my God who created me and I am always under His devine providence.

...what really works for me is to just sit down, take 10 minutes, and plot out the things I am stressed about. Then once you have compiled them in a list, try and attach a deadline and priority to each one. Once you get whatever's worrying you onto paper, you can take it off your mind, and you'll start to feel better soon. Then start working through your list by priority.

I try to make a little bit of time for myself each day to do something like read, walk, take a bath, or just something I have been wanting to do, regardless of how busy things may be. In that way, I consider it stress prevention. But when I get stressed out, the best thing I can do to calm down is exercise, even if it's just a short walk. It always channels my energy and calms me down.

I do something creative like play violin, draw, or write. Ironically, I can't eat when I'm stressed out. I know people usually pig out on ice cream or something...

Zoloft!! no just kidding, that is only part of it, I tend to eat chocolate if I get really stressed out but that just gives me that instant gratification for the stress, like a small chocolatey high if you will. I try to do what i can to keep myself calm and not to get sick, but I tend to wear myself out pretty badly and that is not a good thing but zoloft does help me cope better with stress so , yeah, I am medicated!!

Not well. But, I do enjoy going for a long walk alone in the desert, and it gives me a chance to be alone quietly with God. Then I am better.

All I need to do to tune out is take my son to the park and make sure that he is having a boog time. I really forget about all the stuff at work and totally focus on him. Its easy to be a kid again and just enjoy yourself. It gives me a chance to let loose and my son loves it that I am behaving like a kid too. It makes us closer and I destress.
