Last night I watched "I, Robot", a science fiction movie based on the story of " Isaac Asimov ", my favourite author. I really loved watching it but, I think I enjoyed reading the same book more than watching movie. So, what is your opinion?

I saw "Interview with a Vampire" which was a movie based on the book by the same name written by Anne Rice. I like the film really well, they were very true to the book and did a nice casting job. I almost like the movie better, that book is sluggish in places and the movie moves a lot better than the novel.

i enjoyed both the book and the movie and agree the book was slightly sluggish at some points plus the movie does have the eye candy of mr pitt to drool over!!!

lets just say that whenever it comes to book vs movie, i usually always choose book. in my mind i have the characters already set in a certain way that i like or dislike, they have their own unique voice and their own personalities based on whatever the book told me. when i see it on the screen its like having someone tell me i was wrong for thinking some things were a certain way. like when i saw harry potter, i completely imagined a different looking kid, i thought the hagrid they had was a lot better than mine though. as you read the books, you get involved in the story and you connect with the characters but sometimes when someone else makes them, its hard to connect or feel the same way about the character. it sometimes ruins the idea that you had of that character. i dont remember what my harry potter looked like, i can only now imagine the one in the movies.

You are absolutely right ! while watching the movie I felt as though I was watching different, unknown characters. The actors who play the role have their different style, and it's almost same in every movie they act in, and I feel they can not do justification with their characters.

i have to say that the book never usually depicts how good the book is i read kiss the girls and along came a spider by james patterson way before the movies came out and after watching the films fet frustrated as they didn't put into the film most of what was in the book i would always choose the book over the movie everytime even if the film is excellent
