Concert Cut Short

Philippines

We had this incident last Saturday. One of the most legendary band in the Philippines united and had their reunion concert on the said day. The thing is, the lead vocals failed to cope with his health and was advised to get to the hospital in the middle of the concert. Should those who attended the concert ask for a refund? Knowing that what they paid for was just half of the original content? Or should they just be kind to let it go? Thanks for your response. And if you are a Filipino, I'm talking about the Eraserheads' reunion concert last Saturday...

Well I heard that from my son who was texted by another friend of him who was in that concert of Eraserhead. That was a much published concert and I am pretty sure many fans were there and was disappointed. However it was not Ely Buendia's fault that he suffered health problem in the middle of the concert and it was neither the fan's fault either. To me the concert organizer should just be kind enough to give refunds to all who bought the ticket or maybe schedule a new concert where their old tickets will be honored. That is just my suggestion. However if the fans are good enough to understand then the better!

I would suggest a second concert if possible. Eraserheads is a big name, people will always go for that name. Thanks for sharing...

Yeah, but we have a few from other networks saying that it was just a prank act. Well, I would really believe that it was for real. Thanks for sharing...

It wasn't planned. It was an emergency.I guess all we have to do is be considerate for the situation.

I thought so. But unfortunately, there are skeptics who believe that it was just an act. But considering Ely's health and his mom who passed just two days before the concert, I do believe him more and if ever I would have the chance, I'll campaign for support for his name. After all, I grew up with their music.

The mere thought that he was there for his fans is enough. The guy is an artist but his health simply failed him. Let's donate half the money instead to him as a sign of our support. Being generous to other people will always benefit to its origiantor. This maybe through other people. The Eraserheads is a great band. Let's support them even in time of trouble. God bless.
