I freak out yesterday when my pet cat bite me. I'm really afraid, afraid of all those vaccines and injections. I just came from RITM, it really hurt a lot (my shots), those hospital interns really give me a hard time. Now,I'm hating that cat, I swear I'll never gonna touch her again. She gave me reason to hate her type. Have you ever bitten by an animal? How does it feel? Can you do please share my some ideas to get rid of this muscle aches due to my injection? Thanks... Wish me luck in my next shot on Sept.4...

You should always be up-to-date on your tetnus shots. Those can really save your life. You need one once every ten years. I am due for one this year. Cats are not bad animals, you just have to know how to handle them. I have been bitten by my cats, and some dogs, thousands of times, and I never complain. I just bandage myself up, and I learn what to do, and what not to do, with my cat. Again, you just need to learn how to handle animals and how to live with them. Animals can be your best friends if you let them.

I hope so, I'm really now afraid to touch her. I think I have a phobia already, this is my first time to get bitten. It's really traumatic for me. I just hope that I can overcome this and try to discipline my cat the right way. Thanks for that nice advice my friend! I appreciated it! Thanks again!

Why are you having to get shots? Was your cat found to have rabies? That's the only reason I know of to have shots given to you when an animal bites you. Usually, a family pet will not have rabies. My son got bit by our pet dog when he was small. The dog hadn't been exposed to another animal, but we called our pediatrician just in case. And, when he heard the story, he said not to worry that my son would be fine. He's grown, married, with two kids, so I think he's fine. Cats sometimes will bite because you touch them in places they don't like to be handled.
