Anyone here make money on Mturk?

On mturk you can do short jobs called "hits" that pay up to a few bucks each. When you get good at reading the hit descriptions you can make around $10 per hour there by completing short jobs. www.mturk.com

HOLY COW! A few bucks per hit?! I just signed up and the highest hit i've seen is $.15. $10/hr would be nice...

Scratch that, I see that they go all the way up to about $40. I don't dare go near those ones though, that has junk mail and sales calls written all over it.

I've tried to start using this site, but haven't gotten anyone to accept my offers to fulfill HITs. Any suggestions? It seems like it will be slow to start earning, but I'd like to give it a shot.
