What is the MOST effective way to impress a man?

Either it be someone you love, someone you need attention from or your friend. There a so many ways to impress girls, including giving her compliments, buy her flowers, get her gifts, cook her dinner. The response men gets from their lady to this is extraordinary.
So what is the most effective way, having the similar sort of response from a man, to impress them? What is your way to impress your man? Men: what is your preferrable way to be impressed?

i think as a woman, based on my experience i just impress a man for being myself alone, i am a simple person, a simple smile make a good impression.
Now that i am married, of course there are times that i hve to impress my husband, i do the thing that makes him happy. and i know he impressed because he tell so.
