Did you have a happy childhood?

What do you think was most defining in your childhood? Meaning what single factor contributed most to your conclusion about your childhood? Who had the most effect on you? What was your fondest memory? If you could change anything, would you change something? And if you would, what would you change and why? Very open ended. Please elaborate as much as you find comfortable. All responses are welcome. Feel free to even digress if you wish. Thank you

I think my childhood was very happy.I lived in a countryside of China,I was very smart when i was young,So I didn't have to spend much time on study. After school,I often played games with other kiddies.I have a carefree time when i was young. But now,as an adult,I must think about many things. It ofen bothered me.I hope that I could be a child for ever.but it is impossible.

Ah yes I too love the carefree time of my childhood, things were simple back then. Now there are so many things to worry about and attend to. I sometimes hope I can be a child forever too lol...but most of the time I just wish to revisit to recuperate from reality. Thanks for your response; your childhood sounded great.

I would have to say FAMILY played a major definer in my childhood. I say that because i feel that was the foundation to all relationships i build as well as how i communicate with others and my out look on life. If i could change anything about my past i wouldn't change a thing, i say that because love who i've become and i have no one to thank besides God and family. Family and relationships are the foundations to it all!!

I completely agree with you, friends and family do shape so much in us. They are like a net we fall back upon so we can rebound and charge at life's harsh side again. Thanks for the response.
