Missing Members...

Alamode is gone for now. She has a relative with cancer. I hope she comes back. I miss her terribly. She is the most like me here, but different enough and creative enough that I never get bored with her or her replies. She is very kind, sweet, and really cool. We've shared many of the same problems, she's older than me so she has lived through things before me and has been a tramendous help. Since she has been gone so long, I worry about her and her family. What she is going through is very difficult. But I understand. My Mom had cancer and there is no way I would have had time to be on Mylot. I worked 8 hours,communted 45 minutes each way, spent all my time not at work at my Mother's side or sleeping. I know there may come a day when I leave Mylot. But I'm not thinking of leaving right now. I get way too much from it including tips on making money elsewhere. I have made many new friends. I've figured out ways to avoid people who are pains here. I have a pattern here and when I develope a pattern, it usually works for me and I can keep going for a long time. I would miss Carolbee and Pearlgrace as well as you and many others here.

i left a few months ago, and came right back. i think people either get tired of the drama they say is going on here. (i have not been apart or seen any drama) or they think they are not making enough money for their time here. what i keep telling people is to not go to the post they are full of drama. why even answer them. and if they really want to make money here they have to get referrals. those two things will help your stay here be more fruitful

So far I have never thought of leaving. I have taken a few breaks from myLot when I get teed off or bored with it. If and when I leave I will just PM a couple of friends and let them know my decision. I will not make a big production out of it with countless good bye discussions. I think these discussions are from people who are either very insecure or have a low self esteem and just want to get out pourings of love(???) and get begged not to leave. Then a few days later they are back posting as they always have. I would have too much pride to reappear after such a big splash was made about my leaving. There has been many such crappy discussions and after the latest brouhaha last week I will not respond to such crap.

I'm not sure who has left, as (like you) I don't keep track. I haven't left, anyway. Although, I too, haven't been very active... I think it just goes in phases.

There are three on my list that are not here now. One by choice, one that was being bothered by trolls and left and then got booted off of here so I here. And the latest one was also booted by mylot for reasons unknown at this time. The last one I told you about is sure trying to get back as soon as she can and the second one, not sure but I think she might get back soon, I hope they do. Yes I do miss all three of them on here.

i don't know of anyone who has left but there's no reason for me to. i haven't heard from some of my friends in awhile so i don't know if they have left or not. i do miss them.

I am not really privy to anyone's reasons. I know someone left again, maybe for awhile, and two discussions about it got deleted. Others who were suspended seem to be back. I had "good news" last night. Someone who had mysteriously disappeared, not even on my friend list, was gone. She responded to my discussion and I saw that she was online. She had been off because of a computer meltdown. I know I am not on as much because the laptop is down, and we have to share computer. I do not like to share. In answering your question, Hatley is back, we missed her while her computer was down. So for her friends, this is good news.

Gabs, oneand six ,sparks, adn several others you wont miss tham if you are not friends with them. I hate it that they have left and no I dont think they will be coming back and thats a shame for I will miss them very much! Some havent been on so much this summer for they have had alot of other things to do but they are coming back slowly! Nope never thought of leaving myself!

I have seen a lot of people leave but most of them come back with another username. I have also seen a lot of people start discussions saying they are leaving but then never go.

I know of four great people who are gone...Three have left voluntarily for various reasons...life, trolls, etc and one was banned...I know of a couple of others banned and another voluntary leave but they were not on my list! Others are just missing and so I am not sure!! I don't like sharing names because I do not want to be part of the drama!! The point is there are a lot of hurt feelings here over the past six months or so and many I fear will never be back!! Thankfully I have a couple E-Mails but there is one whom I have been trying to get a hold of for over a week and no response...I am so worried about her!!! As for me, I sure have thought of leaving and I just may...It is just not worth all the awful, hurtful things that are going on here!! I also know at least one other person who is seriously thinking of leaving for the same reasons I am! If I do go, I'll let my few friends that are left here know before I do go and share E-Mails or something to keep in touch because I do value certain friendships I have made on here! Hi Twoey ! If its any consolation I've not left .. I've just got back from holiday, this monkey needed to be in a place with no electronics! Im absolutely gutted that Mooch is gone. Hope she's ok. Im not in it for the money so I'm going nowhere. I'm glad to see you still hear, keep up the good work.

Hi twoey I don't actually know who has left. I haven't seen Shelly for about a week now but lately she'll take a break for about a week and then check in. I hope she hasn't left. I'm anxious to read your other comments to see if anyone knows of others mia. Glad you brought it up. leenie

I'm not sure how many people have left but I know I've been away for some time. For several months, I wasn't able to login to this site except on the old computer. I did that a few times but then it became a huge nuisance and not worth the additional effort. That's the reason I quit coming in on a regular basis but I kept checking if I could login and finally, a couple of weeks ago, I did. Now I have a lot of catching up to do. As for others; there was a lot of grumbling about missing discussions and reduced earnings, a few months ago. many went to other (similar) sites.

I really couldn't tell you who has left as I am like you and don't really keep track of who is here and who is not, anymore. I have around 100 friends on my list, I only keep real friends on my list, and I know most of them are here still. Every month I go through my list of friends and any that haven't been on mylot for the last month, I will watch out for and the next time if they haven't been here again in the last month, that makes two months of inactivity, I will delete them. But that doesn;t happen very often so I think most of my friends are still here and are active. The reason I will delete them is because I only want active friends on my list because I only respond to the discussions I get in my emails which are all from my friends,. and the mylot digest. This way I don't have to search for discussions. So if someone on my friends list doesn't participate I don't notified and I may as well not have them on my list. I will then look for a couple new ones because I want to keep my list at around a hundred. So to answer your question again, I don;t notice much when someone is gone. Hi Twoey I have noticed that you haven't been on here for a while and have missed your discussions and yes I have a number of friends that I would be upset to see leave but if possible would like to stay intouch via their email..also quite a few of my friends don't seem to of been on here for a while and when I make a discussion which I have done a few the past month they dont respond so it just makes me wonder what has happened to them..am not sure who has left but there are a few people..mainly cos of trolls and their discussions being deleted for unknown reasons when they haven't violated the guidlines..littleowl

twoey68 my dear friends Mooch and gabs have both left for good, driven away from some very mean people who still must be on my lot, sad to say. I miss both of them, and I know Gabs would not have left if something very nasty 'had not happened to her here. I only wish I knew who the people are who drove them away as I would report these mylotters to mylot admins in the flash of an eye. We should not be mean like that and go out of our way to harrass innocent mylotters til they give up and quit. I dont think Mooch is coming back and Gabs was pretty upset so I dont know. we shall just have to wait and see. I am not leaving so nobody had better' try harrassing me. lol lol lol.

I don't know of anyone that has left personally. I don't ever think of leaving, I love this site. There are days when I might not be as active or sometimes even weeks if I am sick of the site or bored or just too busy to get on. I never think of leaving though. I don't think I ever will. I enjoy coming on here and discussing things with people and making money as an added bonus. I don't feel like this site is work. I can come be on here for hours at a time sometimes. It's one of my favorite sites to be on. There have probably been some people that have left though, I have seen quite a few discussions started complaining about how little they make on this site. So those people probably have left or are going to leave soon. I don't remember anyone in particular. I do remember seeing two discussion about a person leaving but one wasn't over the money or anything to do with mylot. The other person got mad because there were two discussions that were alike, one she started and one I started. She got mad and I think she left because I remember reading her comments on more than one post and she was still mad. I think she even started a discussion about her leaving. I see more discussions complaining about the money they make on here rather than leaving here. Well I won't leave, not anytime soon and probably not ever.

There is gabs, hopefully she is leaving just temporarily. If not, I will see her over on Yuwie.
