I think my son's videos and photos are the largest files in my computer. It's impossible for me to store all of them. So I have to burn them into DVDs and then delete some of them.

The same for my computer. Video files are the biggest in terms of size. And some of them are too big to even fit onto one DVD. Still looking for compression tools to reduce them a little to squeeze them into DVDs. Got any good ones to recommend?

Those are the dual layers ones. My current burner is not able to read them. Unless I spend some money to upgrade my DVD drive, I will not be able to use them. And the dual layer DVDs do not come cheap as well. More economical to get an external hard disk.

I like to download movies and most of them make up space of about 1 GB per movie so I guess movies take up a lot of my computer space.

The largest group of files is my bohemian heart file. It contains pictures of my jewelry, bouquets, my logos, pictures I use for references, and my art work. The single largest file is the artworks file. I don't really know how large it is exactly, though.

Yes, I am. I have a website started for my jewelry and bouquets. My art work is just something I share with friends on line, at the moment. I am working on a book cover at the moment. Who knows where that can lead.

The largest files in my computer are some program files. I download a lot of music, but I don't download full movies or anything. I'd rather get those on DVD, rather than filling my computer full of them.

Hi youless, I think they might be the files of games and photo gallery. I save all the pictures of my loved ones, and also all the unique and interesting images which I have snatching whenever I come across daily and during vocation as well here. Though I have burnt some of them into VCDs I still never delete any of them yet. My son has downloaded many games for me. I like only those simple and challenging games as I could play them over and over again. What’s more I don’t have to spend too much time for a single game as it is short and straight forward posting and take care.

Wow, it sounds nice to watch photos on tv for the LCD is very much bigger than the pc LCD. I can watch photos directly from my camera using usb connection to the tv. How nice if could burn a photo album DVD. Thanks for your kindness youless. If I’m interested, how could I get the software from you?

It is probably the Windows Operating System that is obscenely bloated. I store few things in my computer because I hate losing those things when my computer breaks down. So I store most things online. Then again, I don't have much information to store.

Unfortunately, I don't have any good ones to recommend. Like I mentioned, my files are all not too big... I email to myself hehe. I currently use divshare and box.net occasionally but I don't like them enough to strongly recommend.

The largest files on my laptop are my TV series and movie downloads, they've taken about 100 GB of my laptop's memory and I've burned and deleted some of them including my photos. My laptop's capacity is 160 GB and now I'm left with 25 GB. I can't decide on what to delete but I might end up deleting all of it after burning them into DVDs cos I really really want to clean up my space.

Hello youless. It is also photos on my side. I have many many photos and my wife has helped burn some of them in DVD form as well. Then quite some were deleted from the laptop, but I still prefer some of them in my laptop as it is more convenient to find them. Good night.

movie downloads occupy most of my hard drive space.. my laptop has 160gb hdd, of which around 100gb is reserved to downloaded movies.. whenever my free space reached around 15gb, i start to burn some of them to dvd disks and delete them..

I think the largest files in my computer is the movie files. I used to burn most of the my files and movies and songs in the DVD. After my computer got infected I used to take the backup of most of my important files in the DVD. I think it is always safe to take the backup of the files as far as possible.

I thing it's Beijing 2008 Olympic Games openning vedio is the largest files in my comtuper. The CCTV edition is more than 15G and the NBC edition is about 4.7G. To be honest, the openning ceremony is very beautiful in the NBC edition and a little boring in the CCTV edition. And I known it's not the fault of CCTV but a fault of BOB or something.... Thanks Zhanyimou and his league members and all the related people to give the world such a great show.
