Do a cheater deserves a second chance?

I am strolling at the mall recently and i saw my bestfriend's ex-boyfriend.. He asked me to help him to talk to my friend so they can reconcile again.. I'm mad at him because he wasted my bestfriend's trust on him... But if you guys were going to ask, Do a cheater like him deserves a second chance! grrrrrrr!

Hi rodelbulan,
In the first place why did he ask you to do his dirty work, he should contact her himself and I think once a cheater always a cheater, I wouldn't trust he could do it again so have a word with your best friend that he is trying it on again to get back with her, tell her don't.

Thanks for the concern.. I feel sorry for this lady friend of mine... She trusted him so much! Then eventually we discovered that he is dating 3 more girls! *&!)o%$! He talked to the group (my group of friends) that he will not do it again and he is crying as well... but we love our friend.. and we need to protect her.. she is the youngest on the group, anyway.

Well that really a hard question...i would say it depends on the situation..Because there is not any rule that cheaters will not be true again..they might have changed and became a new person...what my opinion is:only betrayers should not be forgiven!

I understand you point. My friend is a bit confused right now.. (is that normal to a girl?) she can't decide, though 100% of our friends is telling her to forget him and give him a kick on his a*s! grrrrrrrrrr...

No. Cheaters never deserve a second chance. Even though they will say that they will not do it again, its not a valid reason. Once they do it once they will always do it. But all your friend should do is prove everything even though in the end he can gain nothing. What matters most is he did his best.

Why he is wanting you to be a bridge. If he really regret why do not he directly approach and beg sorry and reconcile. If he has really cheated and not by chance he will never go for it.

Well.. it depends. I have to see how deep is the regret, and how much the willing to get back together with the ex. I mean, everybody has the right to have the second chance, but only little of them really deserve it. I hate cheaters but I believe that people do change :)

for me cheaters does'nt deserves a second chance becoz once he/she did something wrong he/she will do it again and again...
but if you really love the person,well...you have nothing to do but to forgive him/her.haha!
