Today, I had just sold my cell phone. It's Sony Ericson K610i. Although it function pretty much fulfill my needs, but it's not durable as other phones. Sometimes, it just power off by itself and because of this, I missed some important calls from company and friends. Sometimes, the mic seems like could hardly picking up my voice, and thus the person on the other side of the line could hear my voice vaguely. This has frustrated me. Therefore, I decided to switch to other phone when my poor k610i still worth some price, although I feel hesitated (because I think I am going to miss it) I switch to my old Nokia temporarily while looking for new cell phones. But I do not know what phone I should buy. I am longing for Touchscreen, GPS and WiFi features. Do you think I am guilty to sell the cell phone? Do you have any good recommendations on which phone I should buy next?

Hi cheongyc, it’s true we will feel something when we are going dispose any personal belonging which we are using for quite some times. We might feel a bit sad because of the sentiment attached but this would last only for a short period. Anyway a phone is a tool only. If it is not functioning well, it would certainly have to face the faith of being discarded. You are still lucky enough that you manage to sell away the old cell phone. So you could make use of the money you got to get another brand new cellphone.
Sorry for I’m not an expert in modern phone. You better go and get some information by surfing net or visiting the nearby phone shops. Of course the features you mention like Touchscreen, GPS and WiFi are really attractive and useful nowadays. I prefer Nokia as it is more user friendly and tougher. I do hope I could get one of this latest model cellphone as well. Hope that you could get your ideal new cellphone very soon .
posting and good luck.

That's right. We will have some sentiments on the things that we used for quite some time. That's why I miss the and feel sorry for the phone that I sold away. But I think it's better to let it look for new owner, rather than dump it all alone in one corner of the house. Over time the poor abandoned phone will be covered with cobweb and dust. Besides, the money I got by selling could be used on the new cell phone I am going to buy . I think I am not going to buy a new phone in so soon. I will do more survey so that I could get a better deal. Thanks for your response my dear friend lkooi, and have a great day!

You are right. It would be new start for my old cell phone. So it could continue to serve its new master. It's good because it does not need to abandoned in the house, covered with cob-web and dust.
By doing careful and thorough research, we do not only get a suitable phone, but we could possibly get the best price too! Until now, I still haven't encounter a phone which suits my need and budget yet. I am still waiting and hoping for the best deal!

I think the cellphone will thank you a lot for you had offered it an opportunity to let the shop to give it a completely overhaul. I believe it would be refreshed and given a new life again and happy with its new owner, instead of lying in a lonely corner in your house. I could imagine how pity the abandoned cellphone which is covered with cobweb and dust sitting in the lonesome corner days after days
Yeah, we won’t be able to get an ideal and nice brand new cellphone if we get it only in a hurry. Really it’s wise to do more surveying and to get more information before buying a new device, so we won’t regret later on.
posting and good luck.

Hello dear cheongyc. I am not very expert at cell phones, but I know that there is some kind of cell phone that has the function of watching TV. I got to know this in June before the summer vacation of mine in a cell phone shop. I was very interested in it and asked the assistant to show it to me and I watched TV on the cell phone and found that it is really great, but I am sorry that I cannot remember the brand, except that it is a Chinese brand. If later I were to update my current simple-function Nokia cell phone, I think that I will consider having one like that.

Cell phone with TV is really a good idea. So that I could watch TV whenever I am bored while waiting for something. But I will still prioritize cell phone with GPS and WiFi function. But I think cell phones with such function are still expensive. Recently I noticed the Nokia 6210 seems like fulfilling my requirement. I do not know how much it much in the local stores yet. I am going to find out, then only I will justify to buy it or not . Thanks for the suggestion and have a good day!

Thanks! It's not easy to get a cellphone. Besides, people like me, is hard to change the cellphone. Because after using it for a while, I have some kind sentiments related to it. I feel heavy-hearted to sell my previous Sony K610i. I miss it somehow. Thanks for the encourage and you have a good day too!
