what are you doing to help stop/prevent global warming?

hi there everyone!
i have thought to ask you this question because it is really a world catastrophe waiting to happen. we are now experiencing the effects of global warming.
just last month (not so sure of the date) a tornado nearly hit los bañ6s, laguna. this is very alarming because tornadoes are not normal here in the philippines.
so to help save the earth...in my own way...i have started a campaign against using plastic bags. when i go to the groceries, i dont use plastic bags instead i always bought a bag with me.
so guys what do you do? please do share ^__^

Well I do what I can, and it may not be much. I am driving less than I used to, and while I still use plastic bags, I recycle every one of them. I'm also getting in the habit of picking up plastic bottles I see laying next to the road and taking them to be recycled. And I make sure I turn off lights and my computer when not in use. These are just little things, but I know the little things make a difference. And good for you with the plastic bag campaign! The world needs more people like you!

i think that is a great idea. and you are so right. indeed big things start with little things, some might say that this aren't helpful at all since our problem with global warming is so big...i still think that it is better to start with something rather than sitting down and belittling what others are doing to contribute in the preservation of our environment.
