Hey guys / gals,,please help me in finding the best anti-virus software in the market to protect my PC against all types of harmful viruses,trojens and all..I hope you will all respond to my discussion and make me aware of the best Anti-Virus available now.

Depends if your looking for a free anti-virus or one that you can buy. Also, it depends if you want an anti-spyware feature in your anti-virus.
From my extent, windows defender is really good anti-spyware and anti-virus and it's 100% free. You can download it from their main website and it automaticly deletes virus's that attempt to attack your computer. Has been effective on my computer for the past 2 years.
If you are willing to buy, get Norton Anti-Virus 2009, they are really great and they delete any kind of adware, spyware, virus known to man. They will also scan your computer regularly when requested. About $80 USD if you want to buy it. You can buy it online or from a close retail store.
