Attatched is a photo of most my pickings from today (Monday). Not shown are some onions and green beans. But I got a variety of tomatoes, grape tomatoes, brocholli, zuchinni, bell peppers, banana peppers, cucumbers, pickling cucumbers, onions, and some green beans. I have maybe 10 small ears of corn left for the season as well. Those might be ready in a week or so though. Has your garden really flourished well this year as mine seems to have done? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

That's really lovely!! Right now, I am waiting for some papayas to ripen. We had a lot of ladyfingers this year. And two varieties of beans are just coming out. We had some chilli too. And I am proud of my sweet potato creeper. Just love the way it is growing. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

Boy Grandpa Bob what green thumbs you have my bell peppers are going great but they are really, really small. Oh well they taste good if you want a bell pepper to fit into one bite. heehee

Hello dear Grandpa Bob. It is nice to hear that you are having a harvest of what you sowed months back. Great! Happy planting and posting, my dear friend.

Hi GRANDPA BOB, I bet you are enjoying yourself pickling all those vegetables, did you get helpers as well to do the picklings? still it kept you busy but my garden is very small and I only have a very few tamatoes which I have grown for the first time in my life and I have mostley herbs in my little garden so its not much to shout about, happy pickling and don't work too hard. I cleaned out the corn today - took me all day picking, husking and freezing. Our ears were small too but I managed 50 gallon sized freezer bags plus sent grocery bag full home with daughter and another bag in the fridge to eat on the next few days. This blasted heat and no rain is really messing with the gardens here but due to my hard labor the freezer is nearly full and have lots of tomato sauce and picante sauce canned.
