It was OK, totally different than the previous one. This one I thought was a lot more about the psychology of Michael Meyers, and dare I say it, made him slightly more sympathetic of a character? I mean, at times you felt really bad for him. I prefer to try not to compare them to each other, and look at them as two totally separate films, because that is what they are.

yes i dont like putting them together either and i hate when people compare them since there both different tellings of Michael Myers and have different storys sort of. and at times i did feel sorry for him.

i was skeptical to watch this film. and I had good reasoning. If people are able to seperate it from the original films, it was a pretty okay movie. but putting the two together ruined the movie for me. I feel like the originals were much more scary without knowing all that stuff about school and his family. It's much more frightening to think that someone has no reasoning behind a murderous rampage. Some of my friends think the rape scene, which isnt in the theater version. was over the top. but i reminded them that its a fairly common practice in some places like that.
