Allow me to be more specific: Would you rather Be popular, well-liked, have many friends, but only earn minimum wage, or be not very liked, have little friends, but earn way over minimum wage?
Personally, I'd rather be popular and well-liked over making lots of money. What about you?

I think it's a little more complex than you've outlined in your question. I think it's more appropriate to ask what is important to you - relationships or money? Personally, I would hold more value to relationships, but that doesn't necessarily mean I strive for popularity. I would rather have any number of true friendships, and have love in my life while not making a lot of money, than having all the money in the world and not having the people in my life to share true experiences with.

Absolutely, relationships have to do with being social. That's why I think it's more appropriate to specify than being social as in being popular. I think it's important to have quality relationships, rather than an abundance in quantity. :)

i agree with your choice. money may make people like you but only when you still have it.

Well, you can also say that friends can hook you up with jobs. I prefer having friends since they allow you to make the most out of your life by letting you have many good memories before you die, while just making lots of money and not having any friends to spend time with is only a good way to live because of all the material items you can buy with the money, but I prefer being social instead of spending time using material items. That's just me
