Do you have free meal in your company? My company is great, I was now enjoying the new offer they have. They offer a free breakfast to senior officer plus the regular free lunch meal. So all in all, I have two free meal and the breakfast this morning is good, since they give also extra fruits and today is apple, I love it. Please share your experience in your company with free meal.

I think i have something like that... i have a food allowance of 100 pesos per day... so that is around $2.15... which is a good thing because i can alway choose what i want to eat... there is a school canteen at the back of my office so lunch is quite cheap... i don't eat breakfast... so i am fine with my food allowance...

That's huge. You can save 50% from that. Well, if you did eat breakfast, then we have basically the same benefits.

hi agihcam well I guess in a way the library where I wo rked gave us a free meal every christmas and we would have a big party with a lot of us bringing pot luck stuff but the library would buy all the drinks and desserts. we did have a lot of fun, as old workers who had left to work in other library branches cameback to ourChristmas partyh. we had games, and giftexchanges, and prizes so we did have a lot of fun.

That's great my dear friend! Getting free meal from the company is a privilege not all are employees are enjoying! Imagine free breakfast and regular lunch all free! Imagine they even give extra fruits! I believe that is wonderful! You are blessed and certainly with that kind of Employer that you have your company will even be blessed! Well my company, does not give free meal but they give meal allowance but not to all staff. Only to the old timers and that include me. I am just praying that this privilege goes even to the new ones because after all... everyone in the office is working and must be given fair treatment. I have already brought this matter to the President of the company and its seems she is amenable. Hope it will come very soon.

yeah, I was having a nice employer and I am thankful for them. Hope you have a fair treatment soon. Yet, you're doing good since you can avail such benefit also.

My last job, before I was laid off, would buy lunch for the employees in my department every thursday. I was in charge of getting all of the orders together and calling the restaurant. I really did not like doing that, since it took so much time away from my work. For the Christmas holiday, they would have a breakfast for all of the employees. The job I worked at before the last one, would have employee appreciation day, where they would have a catered lunch. they would also order food every time there was a meeting. They always ordered too much, so the other employees were always welcomed to whatever was left over. Actually it was a big waste of food. Because often times food was thrown away.

Oh, too much job for you. I can imagine how you sacrifice time and efforts doing so.

I used to work in a fast food chain before and somehow we are given free meals. But the company stop doing that already because of the financial crisis. It's more like they are saving and our free meals were to sacrificed. I really hate it because I can save money with that kind of settings. How I wish they would continue it even if I am no longer working there because it will greatly help those other employees who needed it most. especially those who have families already...a great savings for them.

I never experienced to work in a company that giving free meal, I also did not experienced it when I was a OJT student from schools. But because I got OJT in the kitchen department, some of chefs in that company cook some special meals for their On The Job training students so we can also consider that as a free meal. Dishes of chefs from that kitchen are taste really good. In coffee break the pastry chefs also give as brownies or cakes.

I hope soon they will also serve the dinner so that you won't have to worry about your meals at home..just a suggestion...i used to work in a factory before that also serves free lunch and they give away vitamins for the workers...free meals are also very common in call centers..the coffee is even free.
