this has got to be the most romantic thing I've ever read. He handed her a dozen roses 11 real, 1 fake. He said I'll love you until the last one dies. She gladly accepted them, but when she took them, she said "One of these is fake!" He said "Exactly. That's because I will love you forever." Post this in another city in 5 minutes and the love of your life will message you or call. just got it in my email. the other most romantic thing was when Jack nicholson said to ? (forgot her name) You make me want to be a better man! in as good as it gets. whats the most romantic thing to you?

Her name is Helen Hunt. (I just remember because that's one of my favorite movies and she's one of my favorite actresses.) Anyway... On to romance. :) A good deal of the time my hubby and I were dating, we lived in different towns, practically across the state from each other. But, we still kept seeing each other. If he didn't have a car or anything (Part of the time, he was going to trucking school with, then driving a truck for, North American Van Lines.), he'd hitch hike to see me, regardless of the weather. He did the same thing, going from near the southern edge of Kentucky to St Louis, MO, when we were separated one time. And I do mean regardless of the weather. He came up through a blizzard once. How could I stay away from someone that would do that for me?

That was sweet. Thinking younger makes me think of my first proposal. We lived in California, when I was in kindergarten. One of the boys in my class invited me to his birthday party. I wasn't winning any of the games, so he gave me a toy school bus he had, and he asked me to sit by him when we had cake and ice cream. He asked me if I'd marry him, if we both still lived there when we grew up. lol

I gotta say that the most 2 romantic things my hubby ever did for me was when we were just dating at 16 on Valetines day he made me dinner it was so sweet. Shortly after we had split up and then reunited 5 years later to be wed. It was a nice little wedding just us and his parents and mine there. The first year we were married he bought me roses and every year he would buy me the same old dozen boque of roses till I told him that it's nice to get roses but it would be sweet to have a change of roses. Then the year after he had bought me the same kind of boque of roses except there was a difference with them, he had asked the lady to put a purple rose in there for me. Purple is my favorite color. It was so sweet that I had tears in my eyes.

The two most romantic things that i would love to happen to me is to get caught under a gentle rain with the man i love, i think that would be our romantic rain. Then another one is to be sitting on the beach with him and watch the sunset. I am a hopeless romantic but my partner for 16 years was not. so, maybe that is one reason we parted. How i wish one day that i would have one of these 2 things happen for real.

For me it was when I saw the movie of Mandy Moore's " A Walk to Remember". When her boyfriend still marries her even if Mandy is going to die due to her terminal illness. And that how an ordinary girl has touched and changed the filthy rich guy's life. I could still cry if I watch it again.

The most romantic thing i have ever read or heard is the line from erich segal love story:"love means not ever having to say you are sorry"....that's it.Nothing can beat that.I mean those words are just enough to make me cry.

Romantic - Like a rose, trampled on the ground. He took the fall and thought of me, above all.
I think the most romantic thing I've ever watched is the scene from "Ever After" when the prince knelt down before Danielle (Drew Barrymore) and he said, "I kneel before you not as a prince, but as a man in love.." Those words just melted my heart away. It's what Jesus did for us, he didn't die as a Prince, but as a man in love. This is unconditional love, and this for me, would be the most romantic thing of all. Like a rose, trampled on the ground.. He took the fall and thought of me, above all:)

Nice! But I am the most unromantic person in the world. I don't believe in love and romance. LOL So how shall I contribute to your worthy post? I think I had better beat a hasty retreat and leave more romantic people to post their comments. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

hi bunnybon I keepthinking about my husband and the wheelborrow'full of shasta daisies all in bloom. I had]complained that he never brought me flowers. so he left and soon was back with all these gorgeous white shasta daisies.
