Hey I'm learning chemical calculations now so would appreciate some help.
How many moles of ions are present in 2 moles of potassium sulphate?
a) 3
b) 6
c) 7
d) 14
Would appreciate if any chemistry guru can tell me the correct answer as well as explain.

i would love to help you ,but i am rusted in the chemistry field right now and i don't remember how I did all the calculations. I am sure the Guru will appear pretty soon :)

I hope I'm not too late in answering
Potassium sulphate-K(2)SO(4).Please see those are subscripts I can't make them smaller.
So K(2)SO(4)=2K(+) + SO(4)(2-).I hope you understand what I'm typing.
4-subscript
2- superscript.
So in all 3 ions two from K(+) and one from SO4 so it's 3 moles
