The saga came to a dramatic end when Sir Alex, with vast experience in the industry, concluded the business albeit higher bids from the Manchester City and threatening advances from European arch-rivals Real Madrid.
Watching all this unfold all day on the transfer deadline day was quite exciting.
What do you think of Sir Alex's prowess in this business?
Isn't he the best guy around?
I think the man is so good he can get the best deal int he world. It's not abot money, as newly bought over and heavily funded ma City have come to learn, it's about tact and strategy.

Finally!!!!!
What a long awaited moment. I was hoping for Fergie to sign Santa Cruz.. but I guess Berbatov is a good choice too. Man United has been having scoring problems. Let's hope Berbatov can solve that problem.
Some players say that Berbatov reminds them of Cantona. Let's hope he can be as inspirational and entertaining as Cantona.

Finally, it has worked out. I really admire the style of Sir Alex's dealings.
And now, more good news, Manucho has been given the work permit and shall feature in the Man Utd first team!

Finally, the transfer saga of the year comes to an end. I do not know since how long Berbatov has been pushing for the Manchester United deal, finally it took place. But, I think Man City pulled the bigger surprise with the Robinho deal!!
Now that Berbatov is in town, let's hope he can reach the levels that are expected at United and build on his goal scoring antics at Tottenham. One thing that worries me though is his work ethic which is very less compared to the expectations from a Man United shirt.

I think the lad is set to make a mark on the Old Trafford crew. He knows this is the best team where he can make it. Rooney an Giggs will make good ones for him, and he can wonderfully finish them off goals!

Yeah, finally after all the saga, berbatov has signed with manchester united and that's good news for man united.. lol =D With ronaldo our with injury at the moment, berbatov will be the man to spear head man u's attacks, and i believe he will definitely be an instant hit ^_^
With louis saha sold to everton, all the more Man u will need berbatov ^_^

Absolutely. Dimitar is more of a plus, especially that Saha's performance has really gone down, dogged by his recent injuries. I hope the lad can regain his form at Everton.

Now, I sure that Berbatov is join with man.utd. I heard the rumor a few days ago. After sell saha to everton. I wonder that man.utd will minim with the forward player and I don't know again how man.utd will face this season. But when I read this discussion and see the image, it give me a hope and man.utd to retrain the premiership league.
