why is it so hard to forget your first love?

Its the first my dear, no matter what its the first time and that's why its unforgetable. Whenever you try something for the first time you will alway remember it, don't you?

things are a little different here for me. i only put the deepest love at the bottom at my heart, not first love, why? because first love usually happened too early before we fully understand what love is. in a way, it's kinda of liking, not true love.

I have my first love when I was 17 and until now I still remember him. I think its because that was the first person you experience to be inlove and be hurt.

It depends. I mean it depends on the degree of love that each of you are sharing and giving on until the day it ends. If your first love is only a fling thing then this is not impossible to forget, But if your first love is really a shared love with commitments to each other then this would be hard to forget.

I do not remember my first love very much at all. In fact about the only thing left of the memory is the poem I wrote when we broke up. I had the poem published through an online site and now that is all that remains of the memory. I certainly held no love for him by the time we broke up. There have been others that took a while to go but go they eventually did and none of them compare to the man I chose to spend my life with. I never even think of them unless a discussion like this comes up and I think back on my past loves.
