I use to try to sell things on ebay, but had no luck. I guess it depends on what you are selling as to whether or not you will do good.

Hi as2006,
I have never bought anything on e-bay but my husband has and I think when you see someting you like you have to bid for it, the best way is to wait and see how much the bidding is going and try to bid last minute and you may get it, that is all about what I know, but Mylotters may tell you more about it.

In the past I have bought a load of stuff on eBay. I love eBay, and I have not only found some good deals on there, but also a lot of wonderful things that I might not have found locally because they were either old and not sold anymore (records) or not common in my country (Turkish delight).

I used to buy things through ebay but have never sold anything there before. From a buyers perspective the main thing I always focused on when looking to buy something from someone was the sellers rating. People that have bought from this buyer before provide feedback so you can see if they had a positive or negative experience with the transaction. If the overall feedback was good then I generally had no issues puishing to win a bid and buying the item. Delivery terms are also important to note. As for being a seller; I haven't done this before as I said but I would think that it is very important to make sure you are clear and concice about what you are selling; place as many clear pjhoto's of the item as you can; and also make sure you check what the delivery prices and options are to send the item to a buyer and you state these clearly as well.

I do ebay as a seller. What do you want to be? a seller? First, figure out if the selling price of your items is in good competitive position versus what is the going rate at ebay. For example, you wish to sell Playstation 3 for ateast $300-$325 price range to give you profit make sure completed listing prices falls on that range or higher. It won't make sense selling there if the going rate of Playstation 3 is $260-280 right? Not only that, factor in other intangibles like ebay fees, paypaly fees S/H, etc... goodluck!

ebay is iike an online market. you'll post your items with the pictures and descriptions. you can allow others to bid after you limit the minimum bid price, and you can also choose to give them options to buy. it's a lot of fun to join ebay especially if you have lots of interesting stuffs to offer.
