How do you start a blog? I don't have a clue!

You start with getting your own blog. I'm not really an expert on this but I do have a blog of my own. It's not a "paid" blog however, I didn't pay for the domain and hosting. I got it free from www.tabulas.com. So instead of the domain maplekisses.com, my domain has tabulas on it, which is http://maplekisses.tabulas.com. I guess I'll have the paid domain and hosting next year, I can't afford it for the moment. But I bet you can. Hmmm, there are a lot of blog hosting companies which can accommodate your blogging needs, (which offers both free and paid hosting) there is wordpress.com, hostmonster.com, blogpostie.com, tabulas.com and more! You will be asked to register (in case you want it for free) or register and go through the payment details as well (for paid). Of course paid domains have more perks that the free one, depending on the hosting site. If you already have an account, a domain (free or paid) of your own, you can start designing your blog site. There are lots of templates available on the web. Or if you know a little HTML programming, you can create your own template. But well, I guess paid domains get to have personalized designs as well courtesy of the blog hosting company. Then you can start posting! You can start by choosing your platform. There are two commonly used platforms: Blogger & Wordpress. I am using Blogger. It is more user-friendly. I am sorry but I do not blog or read blogs as I find them totally boring. IMO if someone has the talent for writing and enjoy blogging then fine but it is not something I am interested in.

I'm glad you brought this up, I've been wondering the same thing. Seems like it would be a good way to make some money yet do something constructive.

I am not really sure how to make a blog because I am not good at it,but a good thing to do is to try to find something you really like or really like to talk about! and your hands just magicaly type! that is what happend to me one time.

Hello.. Well if you wanna start a blog, you must think of what you wanna put on your blog first.. Whether you'll start a blog all about your everyday life or something like that.. And you must stick on just one thing so that your subscribers wont get irritated.. if you wanna change the topic of your blog, you must make a notice first before you change...
