What's the most effective and safe way to detoxify our body

Since I have many health issues lately, the chicken pox attacked, the recurring ear infection and some skin allergies. It was just temporarily cured per specialist visits. So, my friend recommended me to have a detoxification of my body systems which she currently applies. It sounds easy, ie. to drink 2 cups of the mixture of boiled water, honey, lemon and salt in the morning with empty stomach. Just skip the breakfast while we can eat as per normal during lunch and dinner. But, I'm not sure how effective it is and whether it's safe and won't affect ones fertility? So, I'm seeking your advice. Please do share with me if you have some good methods to detoxify ones body systems and also your experience in leading a healthier life. By the way, if you happened to have the recipe of this drink, please share as to how much proportion of each ingredient we shall mix during the preparation. Reason being, my friend just prepare the drink with her own preference of taste and no specific measurement of the mixture. I guess it'll only have best effect with correct measurement of each ingredient, correct me if I'm wrong?

Well i think your friend suggestion is not quite safe ... you can't swallow any sour drinks or foods with an empty stomach, it is bad for your stomach ... you'll get a maag I think the best way is consume a lot of Vit C after eating a food and doing workout exercises at fitness centre .. ^_^ It will increase your body immune system ;-) Hopes you always healthy ^_^

Yeah, it sounds to be the same too! :) but she was so confident and she's practising it now. Oh, I forgot to mention the whole session only last for a week because it's good enough to clear the toxic in our body. She learnt it from someone who attended a 2-day course of "Body Detoxifying", and seems very effective as after 2 days, they were having diarrhea and cleared out all those mess in their body. This is one of the method they learnt from that course. I agree with you as to the exercise, I think that's what I'm lack of lately...it's been a while I didn't go exercise. I read an article somewhere about detoxifying our body. It said, the safest yet most inexpensive way to detoxify our body is drink 10 or more glasses of water everyday. It's also recommended to drink fresh fruit juices.

Yeah, I also read that somewhere and practice it too. But have your heard of something like drinking too much water can make someone fat or get poison? I'm not sure, but have seen this kind of article before. I think maybe because of the drinking water they consumed was not clean enough...

i dont have any idea about it, but in my family we love everytime to eat fruits & veggie, that is the best thing you need to do.

Hi there cutieweii, Don't forget green tea! it have strong antioxidan that help to reduce detox. Sauna bath can't hep to promote toxic out through skin.

Drinking water really helps a lot in flushing our toxins in the body. It also helps in the distribution of nutrients and vitamins in our veins & other vital parts of the body. That is why, it is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water everyday.

I always drink plenty of water everyday, mostly more than 8 glasses each day especially during hot weather and after sports. But, maybe that's still not enough for me to detox those toxin in body. Thanks for the response anyway.

you can go to the pharmacy and seek out out those pills that promote detoxifying. such as liver, colon cleansing. and you can also go online to search for detoxifying recipe. for me i add a bit of lemon juice to my glass of water and that is pretty much enough to detoxify my body.

Yeah, I guess I need to do more research on this before trying anything new, but lemon juice can be a good and healthy drink, so no harm have it perhaps not with empty stomach.
