Theres are sayings that ABSENCE MAKES HEART FONDER. When lovers are seperated, they may think about each other constantly. Their love may deepen.
But, at the same time, there are sayings that OUT OF REACH, OUT OF MIND.One forgets about another person as soon as he/she is out of sight.
Both had happened to me. My former girlfriend goes abroad and we out of sihgt and out of mind, we broke apart. Now my girlfriend and I are in diffrent city, we just make some call and send messages and meet at weenkend every several weeks. We love each other more and more, day by day. It's amazing, isn't it?
What's youre opinions and what's your stories?

I always think absence makes the heart fonder at least it has been so in my case.We are not young lovers we have been married for the past 25 years. My husband is a very busy person we hardly get to talk to each other. In all these years of married life we have been separated many times due to work.He had taken overseas assignments and had gone away while i stayed on with my son for his education.Whenever we have been away like this somehow he will manage to make phone calls and we would talk for hours. When we are together he hardly talks. So I think Absence makes the heart fonder.

yeah, there are two possibilities and they are opposites. what happened to me was out of reach, out of sight. i went abroad to study. at first, we were so much in contact. the technology nowadays are amazing to keep two people as if they were living next door. but then, she decided that it was sometimes too much for her to miss me all the time. she wanted me back. but i was still studying. so she broke up with me.
