I'm so exhausted!

I'm been doing an extra work these days, which requires me to send some advertising paper to students in schools, or parents. And to propagate useful courses in the company.
Its totally a hard job, first of all, the job needs me to go far to another district in the city, which costs me much energy. Second, some people really acted rude when we tried to say something. People were passing by us, with an indifferent impression on their face, maybe mocking at us to do such a mean job. Besides, im kinda sad and disappointed because what we've done these days has not make any difference to the company i'm working in.

I am still doing it when the other jobs I do are slack.
I work in a call center doing so-called 'customer care' (those poor customers). I have anything up to an eight hour shift with fifteen minutes break every two hours and the 'work' consists of phoning cutomers of banks, or phone companies and interviewing them. There are anything from ten to twenty questions and each one must be read out exactly as it is in front of me on the computer. I then ask the customer to give a vote from 1 to 10 depending on whether they agree or not with what I have sid.
What a wsste of everyone's time! 
Many people slam the phone down.
Many are not interested but answer just so they don't appear rude.
A lot are abusive.
At the end of the shift I feel worn out even though I've not been anywhere.
Whoever invented that sort of 'customer care' deserves a prize for the most time-wasting venture I'm sure!

Oh, im just waiting for the school to be started. Haa, its totally a waste of time! One of my roommate once did the same "customer care" stuff, one guy said something really rude and offensive that made her cry! I dont know, many stuff we are doing are just meaningless. Thats the truth. Well, good luck, for both of us!

Hi merrycherry,
People are so mean and they don't think how hard for you to be doing that soirt of work, they should try it sometime, and yes I had a parttime job and got treated like I was nothing so I know how its feel.
