I did cross country and track in high school. These were great experiences for me, and I was able to make a ton of new friends from this, and lost a lot of weight, and generally got into better shape. It was a lot of fun, and helped me break out of my shell so to speak. What about you? Did you do any sports in high school? What were your experiences?

I was never on a team in highschool.
I was always way to lazy and i just never felt like doing anything realated to the school because i hated it soo much. I hate school then and i still hate school even more because im lonely and dont have any freinds.

High school teachers in my country are not really interested in promoting sports, so they don't take care of the high school teams. However, in my last year of high school, a teacher came that took care of the volleyball team. I got into that team and played in the local tournament, but we couldn't make it past the group stage. It was fun, anyway!

When I was in high school I was far from an athlete and I was a very non social person who stuck to myself and the few friends I had and I left school as soon as the bell rung to go home,I always dreaded going to school, but I do admit that it might have been fun to be on a sports team, and I have kind of always wanted to play football because I think it would be fun to tackle people to the ground.

Since fifth grade, I've been in my school's volleyball team until I graduated high school. I could say I played well enough but our team as a whole didn't make it against the much better schools. Hahaha. We always belonged to the "B" bracket. We won a few games but not enough to make it to the finals or even the semifinals. I always looked forward to volleyball practice after school. I didn't like doing the warm-ups but I always enjoyed playing against another team. Sometimes, I'd get so into playing volleyball that I would forget the time and miss the bus. And I always enjoyed eating out after a game, whether we won or not.

In high school I played many sports. As a freshman i played football, basketball, and baseball competitively. Following that year i gave up competing in football and basketball to concentrate on baseball which in the end worked out because I recieved a scholarship to a prestigious university for baseball. Sports in high school are often times overlooked. High school sports teach kids about competition, which is vital becuase the real world is full of it.
