How much time does your cellphone takes from you?

There's probably no single day that you live without the cellphone with you. And there's probably no single day that you won't see a single person without a cellphone in his/her hand. Perhaps to many people texting is almost synonymous to completing the day of their lives. How much time do you spend the day with your cellphone?

Well, to put it simply, a lot. Though I'd like to think that I've gotten better since my days as a text addict when I was a university student. So yeah... Nowadays, though I still send an inordinate amount of SMS, it's most likely important stuff or stuff related to work. Aside from text messages and calls, the only other use I have for my phone though, is to tell the time. *lol*

I only use my cell phone a couple times a week--like if I'm at the grocery store, I may call my husband to see if there's anything he needs for work while I'm there. The only time I use text messaging is if I'm teaching a class--I tell my husband to text me so that way I'll see it during the class break, and can text back. That way I can answer his question when it's convenient for me. But I do regularly see people talking (or sometimes even texting) while driving, and it's no surprise that some people can rack up hundreds of dollars in cell charges every month (for a 3-person share plan ours is 70$/month, and we still don't use all the minutes alloted....but it's the lowest plan available through the company we chose).
