The test is positive . . . I am pregnant!!

I decided to take the pregnancy test today, I just could not wait any longer. The test was a clear positive! Two lines - one a little faint but very visible and the other very dark and clear. I am over the moon!! I have not yet told my husband - I want to tell him tonight when we preparing for bed . . . I can already see his face, it's what we both want and now we just have to pray that the baby is a girl (for my sake), I know my husband will be happy with whatever gender the baby turns out to be but because we already have two boys I am specifically praying for a baby girl. According to the "pregnancy calculator" from Dr Amy's website, I am 4 weeks already and will be due in May 2009. So ya, it's gonna be a long 9 months but I'm looking forward to it, whole heartedly!

Congratulations to you and to your husband. I can still remember last year I ha the same feeling as you are. I already have two boys then I become pregnant August and was due this May. I was really hoping then for a baby girl since we already have two boys, When we have my ultrasound, it turns it is another baby boy. I remember my first born crying out loud and getting mad at mad because it was a baby boy, while he wants a baby girl. but as time pass by he is now loco over his youngest baby boy, and yet he still bugs me to have another baby, and this time he says make sure it is a baby boy! and he say, I have to make a baby girl this coming Friday

Aww congratulations. My husband and I can't wait to have a baby. He too already has 2 boys and he would love to have a little girl and so would I. Although we wouldn't matter if we had either or. Congrats and have fun telling your husband about it.

If you are only 4 weeks then that would explain why the line was so faint. I found out via home pregnancy test when I was only 3 weeks and 5 days pregnant with my daughter. VERY faint line, but yes it was there. COngrats! I will be thinking pink for you.

Let me be the first one to congratulate you!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I can imagine the joy it will be when you tell your husband about it. I have experienced the same thing too. May 2009 just like my son. He is 16 months now. Now, it's time for the gender; hopefully, you get what you want; a baby girl. My pray for you, your husband, and someone inside you.

Congradulations! Babies are wonderful things! I have 2 kids myself and they are my life.
I loved being pregnant, I always used it as an excuss to eat everything in sight.
