Barack Obama has given us a vague outline of his healthcare reform proposals. My own interpretation of those proposals has been very skeptical to say the least and for the most part I don't see BHO getting even half of it enacted even IF he gets elected. I see his proposals a anti-productive and detrimental to a healthcare system(even with all of its flaws)that is without a doubt the best in the world!
Dr. Linda Halderman, a breast cancer specialist/surgeon and healthcare policy advisor to the California state senate, wrote the following article to explain the falacies of the Obama-care plan and how it would be a mistake!
Here is the article:

How much it cost, is not the problem, an health care for everyone is a must in a country that want to call itself civilized, an almost free ealth care is in every west civilized country except USA, so if every other country can afford that I don't understand why a country like USA cannot do that...I guess that all the people that hier are against such a plan are the one that have a good insurance and a good ealth care and when this is the fall I'mn sorry to say that it's only pure egoism..let's make a tax on weapons that the weapons producer have to pay, every years for the abuse in your country cost a lot of money..so this just for beginn...first every one must have a good helath care, hen if someone want the extra and can pay for that...is free to do that, but it cannot be that an hospital look at first at the insurance..that's really not human

Again, No dog in the fight! Does Italy have socialized medicine? If so, does it work? Correct your own problems first!

All of these liberal Universal Health Care plans are nothing other than an attempt to further socialize America.
These are socialists... communists who hate the individual freedoms that we enjoy, and instead want to control our lives.
We enjoy some of the best healthcare available... all these socialists want to do is take control of it, and make us more dependent on the government.
The government has no place in healthcare, or insurance, and has no business interfering in it.
Even worse is the fact that our standard of living would decrease even more as our tax burden would increase exponentially to pay for this social experiment.
Of course, it is the undying goal of the liberals to reduce us to third world status.

Destiny,
Thanks for the comment. I have to tell BHO, if I want to live in a socialistic/communistic society, I will move to Russia or China!

Obamacare amounts to treatments to cure the ills of the U.S. system by just shooting the system. Now if a doctor was proposing to do the same form of treatment as Obama want to do the doctor would end up in jail. Yes there are problem with the U.S health care system but nothing that a little fixing could not cure. One easy way would be to get rid of Medicaid and Medicare which forces doctors to spent a lot of time and money dealing with government red tape. Just imagine the same inefficient government that runs the DMV administering your health care.

GewCew,
Thanks for the comment. I agree, we have the best healthcare systems in the world! Not perfect but surely not any where near deserving the scrap heap!

What's the difference if we struggle along trying to pay our premiums like we do now or have our taxes go up to pay for health care?
People fail to realize that we already have a health care system called medicaid.
No one is ever turned away at any hospitals, not even people who are here illegally. Maybe if we weren't paying for health care for so many illegal people we could improve our already great system.

WhatsHerName,
Thanks for the comment and a great comment at that! I totally agree. Our medical system might need some improvement but it is far and away better than any around the world! Canada has socialized medicine (what Barack wants) and their citizens who really need something done healthwise right now have to come to America to have it done because of the red tape and bureaucracy involved. I wonder, if we actually elect this man and he succeeds in getting his socialized medicine passed, where will we Americans go to get our immediate medical needs performed?

In spite of Obama's Harvard University education, he has continually shown the American people during this campaign that he can't do simple mathematics. His plan would be a disaster for American healthcare.

Clrumfelt,
Thanks for the comment! I agree and not just in the arena of healthcare either! He is off the wall in everything he has proposed!

I am NOT for socialized medicine, now way now how. I have a friend, that lives in England, whose grand daughter had to wait 2 years, to get her tonsils taken care of. The child couldn't swallow properly. People from Canada, where they have socialized medicine, come HERE for health care. And, the government is far too involved in our lives anyway. Let us have some of our money back so we can take care of our needs, stop raising the taxes that are already outrageous. And I don't want to hear anything about raising taxes on employers or any companies. Just WHO do people think pay that in the long run? Ever hear the phrase, sh** (they'd of done that anyway) runs downhill?

You're welcome.
I read some of the comments, further down, and I completely agree with WhatsHerName.
And it would greatly help, if the government let us keep more of the money we work hard for. I'm not just talking about a decrease in our earnings taxes, but, a decrease in taxes across the board. Let business owners, who use part of their profits to expand their businesses, and pay employees, keep more of theirs as well. We should all have the right to improve our lives. EVERYONE. If it's not right for one person to improve their lives, what makes it right for anyone else? Besides, the more people that are working, the more tax dollars are coming in.
Stop the earmarks and all the pork. And for crying out loud, those in government could stop voting themselves the huge pay increases they do. Why is it WE have to tighten our belts if they don't?

Phelyne,
Thanks for the comment. I totally agree and it has been pretty common knowledge for a while now that Canada's health care system does not work! I just don't know where we Americans will go for midical care if Obama gets his ideas passed!

Bobmnu,
Thanks for the comment! Most people who agree with BHO and his healthcare plan don't want to know how much it will cost in money because they think BHO will get it from those nasty rich people! What they AND BHO fail to consider when he makes his plans to rape the best healthcare industry in the world is a basic fundamental of "free enterprise" and that is just this:
At no time is it mandatory for a business to be in business!! If BHO or anyone make it un-profitable for pharmaceudical companies or insurance companies or even doctors to be in business, guess what, they don't have to remain in business!
If we start going to Canada or Mexico or overseas for our medicine and the pharmacudical companies go out of business, where will the next generation of medicine come from? If you or anyone knew that after you went to 4 years of college and then followed that up with 3 years of med school and then a 2 year internship followed by a 2 year residency (count 'em 11 years)that the government would limit the amount of income you could make, would you actually choose to be a doctor?
There is just one word for Obama's plan and it begins with D and ends wuth UMB!
