Skip, skip, skip

No, no, i am not skipping mylot and it's not a nice thing to do now, may be a little later! What i meant was skipping tagging my discussion and responses. Yes, i have decided to skip tagging and it takes more than a minute and again there is no earning it earns. That one minute can be profitably used to start another discussion or respond to a discussion! Your opinion, please.

i just scape and if my replies fits to the ineterest they show the sign "yes or no thanks" a lot easier that way than typing all the time.

I thought that you earn more if you tag, but now I know you don't, so I'm going to stop tagging. You're right, you can be starting a new discussion or answering instead of tagging. Good point :)

I am not really sure of the benefits of tagging your responses and discussion leads. However for something that takes a millisecond to do, I will likely keep on doing it for none other reason than because it is expected here at Mylot and I always try to play by the rules. I am here for the great conversation and the enjoyment of chit-chatting. The money we receive, as I have always maintained is an added bonus or perk to doing what we love doing!

Tagging is the act of stating what the main theme of one's discussion or comment is. It means stating the keywords contained in that topic just discussed. For somebody whose main aim is to make money from MyLot by writing articles and contributing to discussions, tagging may be a delay nuisance. However, for somebody who, in addition to making money directly from MyLot, also eyes giving his writings or websites a high search engine popularity or ranking, tagging is important. Thus, tagging will be relevant to a member who has written about a program or product or service at MyLot, and has added some relevant links where appropriate. If anybody is doing a search on any of the tagging or keywords, he/she might come out tops, thus giving him/her the much desired web traffic. As for me, I always add tags because I know that it would make my writings viewable online to people searching with such tags or keywords.

Skipping myLot is definitely not a nice thing to do, and so is skipping tags. If you go and search for myLot earning tips, you will always see that people advise you to tag your discussions and responses. It is because the people searching through myLot may come across your discussions and responses through your tags and you may have new friends/responses or both. So never skip a tag and it takes nothing but a couple of seconds.

I always put tag whenever I respond or post a discussion, whether is it is just one word or several words related to the discussion. I don't know, but some members say it does increase earning and star rating, don't know how true it is. I guess for me, there's no harm in putting tags to the discussion.

I never tag any of my comments. I really don't know what it's for. I haven't figured out everything to do on here yet.
